2018 Civic sedans and coupes are finally on Honda Canada site.

Since Oct-3, I have been checking everyday and they are finally here. I checked the list of standard features, looks the same as 2017. In the back of my mind, I was hoping they added some of the Sensing features.

I wonder if the local dealerships have them in stock. There is a 2017 MSM SI Coupe in the showroom, I will go this weekend to check if any discount.

The 2017 have a discount! It's even on the web site. 750$ and 1 less % on finance or lease.

The 2018's are up on the US site as well. Nothing is different from the 2017, except a small price increase. I do not see any promos posted for the 2017 Si's.

They appear to not have put the volume knob in either. I kind of expected that to happen but guess not.

I am guessing that since the 2017 was more of a mid year release, they didn’t plan on updating anything until 2019. This way they can have two model years with the price increase, and not have to change anything on the production line.

2017 vs 2018, it does make a difference in resale value down the road.

Not sure, why gives discount to 2018 (Canada).
They should give better discount for 2017 only, just to get rid of them.

newer cars will typically have higher resale (unless you're trying to trade one in right away), in a few years no one will remember the 2017 SI only came out a few months before the 2018 years did.

Agreed. No reason to buy 2017 now unless a big discount, maybe $2K.....

Called the dealerships in a Toronto. The 2018 Civic are coming in a few weeks in November. They actually have a grey SI Coupe coming in the 1st week of December.

They have a 2017 black SI Coupe in the showroom and I asked them to call me when they offer good discount.
