Basic thread to backup ktuner that their tune works like a charm on the new 2017 hatch sport CvT's. I went with the stage 1 since i'm running with 93. I can definitely say there is a noticeable difference. I will also mention everything is stock on the car and i do plan to order prl's downpipe and intake soon. Should i move up to stage 2, what do you guys think?

I'd highly recommend a custom tune from someone such as @VitViper. It's the best way to really get your money's worth.

Yes. definitely worth going custom over an "off the shelf" tune. Nothing wrong with them, but if you are tuning the car anyway you might as well optimize it.

Would love to hear your opinion on the noticeable impacts from going from stage one to two. Wish they would post numbers

Are you using the most recent version of the Ktuner software? The new software offers more options for base maps.

I have the KTuner V2 running stage 2 on my 2017 sport cvt hatch.
It is great, but I have Vit working on a custom tune for it.

Pre-loaded maps should be good for now since you're completely stock. Thats what I'll be running when my kit arrives. Like you, I'm going to get PRL's DP/FP combo, an intake and a custom exhaust and then have Vit custom tune.

Did you run into error codes ? I ran a custom base tune for my ECU and it popped up tons of errors mostly on all the sensing stuff...Waiting on a response from ktner support before I go back to stock
