Do you keep fuel economy records on Fuelly.com or a spreadsheet that you can share or is your 36-37 MPG claim based on numbers you see on the trip computer?
Exactly this. If you're not tracking miles and gallons over a long period of time and instead using the dash display to report MPG, you're not quite doing it right. I've had our MDX display as high as 36mpg on the screen...right after resetting the tracking and then driving/coasting downhill. Over a longer drive it will typically be off around 10% or so depending on idle time.
Fulley ftw! Ive been using it for years on my two cars. I never trust the onboard computers. My 370z is more accurate usually off by only .5 mpg while the Mazdaspeed is normally off by 3 mpg. Between the two cars ive tracked 60,000 miles. Im hoping i get some better gas mileage on the CTR!

Do they have an app now or do you still need to go to the website? I ended up with what I have which is an app, but it's no longer updated so I don't know how many more versions of iOS it will be able to work with...

Back when i started using it there was no iOS app available. I just use the mobile version of the website to input my fuel ups quick, then go on the desktop version if i need to see details.

I use the on board consistently over the last year. I also have a device in the data port which reports dang near the same numbers and I also do it the old fashion way of math at fill ups based on mileage.

I'm sure if your doing a lot of highway cruising you can easily get in the low 30's.
I purchased a new 17 white Honda Type R and have been driving it like a granny getting into 6th gear very quick, don't rev between gear shifting and 60 mph only when permitted and I have been using ethanol-free 90 octane which is the same as premium here in SC now being they taken the 93 octane and rebadged it 90 octane which is our premium here now being it ethanol-free or ethanol base. I have about 50-50 city/hwy and the 20" tires I have inflated to 50psi and I have been getting 35 mpg all the time. I am sure if I get on the car that will go down. I am going to get 18" wheels and tires and put these factory wheels away in my garage and do a catless downpipe also and I figure I will be easy getting 40mpg then that is again as long as my foot stays off the gas pedal. I also have a 16 LX Civic 6 speed and I am am getting 45mpg 50-50 city/hwy all day long with ethanol-free gas also. With the ac on it goes down to about 42-43 mpg.

Is all of this just to find the limits of fuel efficiency on the CTR or is it how you drive all of the time? So you use 90 octane because 93 isn't available?

I use 90 octane Ethanol-Free which they don't go above that grade anymore and it ethanol-free too which does not have all that bull in it.
