Good catch. The 2017 was tested with the optional summer tires. The 2014 was tested with all-season tires. Would explain the difference seen in skid pad and braking differences so we can't really make a direct comparison of those numbers.really nice skid pad improvement, Wonder how much of that is better tires.
They do make a difference. With summer tires, the 9thgen pulled a .91 or .93. 10th is almost pulling a 1G turn which is really impressive thoughHow much difference do you guys think the summer tires would make in a 0 to 60?
How did you arrive at 5-65 mph in 7.4 sec? OP states 0-60 in 6.3.Rolling Start, 5-60 mph:
Gen 10 Si: 7.4 sec
Gen 9 Si: 6.8 sec

WTH, that's a huge difference!
The K24 does have nice throttle response throughout the rev band. Haven't driven a 10th gen yet though it appears to be better in every other single way. Haven't even seen a single 10th gen on the ride yet. I keep lookinMy K24 had instantaneous throttle response everywhere in the rev band. One thing I miss with turbocharged motors.
I've see 1. Ive actually seen MORE Focus RS than I have Si.The K24 does have nice throttle response throughout the rev band. Haven't driven a 10th gen yet though it appears to be better in every other single way. Haven't even seen a single 10th gen on the ride yet. I keep lookin
Wow, so its slower by 0.1 to 60mph from a rolling start than the Sport Hatch CVT. Makes no sense....0-60: 6.3s
0-100: 15.9s
1/4 mile: 14.8 @ 96 mph
Roadholding: 0.97g
70-0 braking: 159ft
Curb Weight: 2897lbs.
