I enjoyed your dadgum review @Gavnzdad ! I found your comment about being surprised about the popularity of the touring model interesting. I have a theory: Honda hit it out of the park with the interior quality, features, and fit and finish with the 2016 Civic Touring. So much so that they are capturing buyers that would have otherwise bought an entry level luxury brand. That's the case for me. I would have had to pay at least 15k more to get an equivalent BMW or Mercedes.

I see what you did there... Prelude... haha. I'd love to see a new Prelude but I hope they wouldn't somehow manage to ruin the name.

This is a very positive review of the coupe!

Not super new, but not sure anyone posted it here yet.

Motortrend annoys me... they loved and gushed over the concept and then bash the styling of the sedan and coupe for being too busy... like... the production car looks 95% like the concept did... what changed? The chrome grill? Is that it? And their endless complaining over the damn volume knob. I understand some people like it, there's also alot of people who now own the civic that originally wished it was there and now, they don't miss it. (ever since my civics have had steering wheel buttons i never touch the volume knob), and honda obviously listened, the next gen CRV which has the next gen touch screen interface has a small physical volume knob now, so they can all stop basing their ratings and reviews of new honda's solely on that missing knob.

So many reviews absolutely love the way the new civic drives, it's standard equipment, etc etc etc, and yet that volume knob seems to be their main reason for picking literally any other car over it. I think alot of car mags are miffed that the american brands still haven't caught up completely to honda, and just when victory was in sight (the lame duck 9th gen civic) honda pulled a rabbit out of the hat and jumped ahead again.

I had a little problem about my c2016 civic ext. I have been hearing a clicking/rattling noise in the middle of the drivers skde door and tire i guess at 35 to 40 mph. About to take it in to the dealer this week. Any ideas?

I only skimmed over but did not see this review. Car and Driver is now starting a long term review of the civic. It is the first long term review that has been done since the 97 model.
