The new 2017 CR-V Has a option for a heated steering wheel. Do you think that it should work for the Civic? Its a $915 option! Would be nice with the cold weather! Thanks

If there is a connector for it, possibly. I haven't seen ANY Civics worldwide with this option though. Adaptive dampers, auto stop start, power folding mirrors. I've seen it all. But never heated steering wheel so the wiring harness might not even support it straight up.

Although you might look cooler (yet feel warmer) with a nice pair of fancy driving gloves

For me, the only things missing in the Civic that is available on the 2018 Accord that are kinda important are:

Heated Steering Wheel (nice to have)
Blind Spot Information (BSI) system with Rear Cross Traffic Monitor system (very helpful for those pulling into parking spots, I usually back into them)

It looks like that steering wheel should swap right out, but the wiring is the tricky part. They are using that retraction system to keep the slack out of the wire and I almost guarantee that will not fit anywhere under the dash.

I think you would have to figure out your own wiring for power unfortunately.

There is a link for the install directions for the CR-V on here.

Bump. Has anyone seen this done or worked with both parts enough to know if the connections are the same? I'm in Canada and would be down to do this if it's possible. The kit posted above would be perfect if it's compatible. Thanks!

Bump. As a Canadian, I would also enjoy having this feature. If anyone knows more information or has tried this, please let us know.

Bumpity Bump

Anyone here put a heated steering wheel from the Accord or CR-V on his Civic?

I don't like the aftermarket solution with a loose cable on it, like here:

The accord won’t work. Have you seen the full picture? The airbag and the buttons are not remotely the same or even similar. The CRV at least looks to have the same button sets.

Oh no, that's too bad.
I haven't seen the full steering wheel of the Accord yet. The website of the Honda parts seller did not have any pictures and they don't sell the Accord in Germany, so I have never seen it in real live.
