Sorry if it's been asked before, I'm a noob to forums. I just got a '17 hatchback sport and wanted to upgrade the factory radio to the same stock one as the sport touring model. I want to do the leather seats as well but that's later on. I didn't get the touring because I only drive manual, but I want nice things too:( thanks in advance for any help

I'm wondering if it would have been easier and cheaper to just import a Canadian Sport Touring?

Any reason why you wouldn't want to just get an aftermarket stereo system instead?

Id rather keep it all as oem as possible, if possible

I have a ST and to be honest, I think you might find yourself disappointed if you went through all that work for the OEM ST radio. It's not an entirely bad UI but I've noticed that it does have its moments where it runs slow or glitches. If you think you'll ever be interested in adding a sub or aftermarket sound system then I would recommend going with a good aftermarket unit like Alpine. I probably wont ever upgrade my radio but I'll pray that they come out with some helpful updates to fix the bugs. With that kind of uncertainty though, I would recommend others to go with a brand who business is making radios and not cars.
