Well, they do have a budget, and they have to cut corners somewhere right?

However, I do like the dual louvered hood vents and (what appears to be) a functional front splitter. I wonder about that rear wing though. If the powerplant has been converted to RWD, then it would make sense, but judging by the size of the tiny (possibly stock) brake rotor and caliper in the rear (last pic), that doesn't seem to be the case.

You're right, it does indeed appear that the development of this car was rushed.

The 2017 model year is just around the corner, and we've yet to hear a peep from Honda regarding the Si. I mean, just a morsel of information would be highly appreciated. I don't think it'll be released any time soon, which quite frankly sucks pickled donkey balls.

Is it me or does the 2016 coupe look similar to the 2015 Si..I saw pics of a 2015 white Si with the aero kit or whatever it's called and looked.like this years coupe. With the exception being the back..Side profile looks similar..Hmmm.
