  1. Sequence Manufacturing Titanium Exhaust

I'm very late to the party, but I finally had these installed. I'm an idiot and kicking myself for even waiting. I can't stop driving the car again. It's almost the same feeling I had when I picked the car up and drove 1k miles home lmao.
  2. Nevada WTB: TE37 OG 18x10 +41

HAHA wtf such a horrible photoshop skills. Quick glance on the left side of the paper shows grassy are. Good luck with the search, OP.
  3. 11th gen Civic Type R Spied in Best Look Yet!

I dig it, but I don't dig it enough to trade in the 10th gen. Is it just me, or is the hood scoop not centered? It's throwing me off lol
  4. When was the last time you saw another Civic Type R on the road...?

Not rare at all around me. I see at least one or two per day. Hell, in a 2 mile radius, there were 5 of us at one point before some got rid of theirs for higher end sports cars.
  5. Finally Got The Type R

    Congrats and enjoy!
  6. 608whp stock block

@OP, good shit! That's quite impressive. I guess it's time to trade my '17 in for '18+ based on the additional drama or so-called debate. hahaha!
  7. Interior worn out ?

Kick that sh*t in. It'll be fine lol
  8. help me decide civic type r exhaust

I couldn't agree more. It's all preference IMO. Some like the deep tone while some like the raspy tone. Additionally, there's also how loud folks can tolerate. OP, as someone above suggested, your best bet is to go to several meets and listen to the different exhausts that folks may have...
  9. 2020 CTR OEM Tire Done At 4,400 Miles

I think a lot of tires would not hold up against a very large pothole going 80MPH. Strangely, I've gone over a pothole going 65-70MPH on stock tires/wheels and it only had a huge gash on the sidewall. The ties still hold air until now months later.
  10. Finally, custom Wet Okole CTR seat covers (Extremely pic heavy) FYI

I think folks just like to protect "their" $37k investment especially if they plan on keeping that car forever and did not buy it just for the hype. I, for one, have been waiting for Wet Butt/Ass (whatever you prefer) to make covers for the car.
  11. Fell out of love with my FK8...

It sounds to me like the "cool factor" has died down for ya moreso the fact that you're expectations were set high. That's usually the case for folks that get hyped over newer cars that are due to come out eventually. I know exactly how that is because I was once like that in my younger years...
  12. Mishimoto's 2017 Type R Intake R&D Thread

It was worth asking. I don't mind saving my money and keeping what I already have as well.
  13. Mishimoto's 2017 Type R Intake R&D Thread

@Mishimoto any chance current owners of the intake would be able to do a trade-in + $ for the new one?
  14. Did you test drive your R before purchasing?

Nope. I couldn't even if I wanted to since it was purchased out of State. Got a call on a Thursday that it was ready for pick up, flew that night, drove it home the following day. This was all in August 2017. edit: year
  15. AWE Touring Exhaust

There is a huge thread about the exhaust system in the Engine section. I would suggest bringing it up there, as there are folks who have expressed issues. Good luck and hope you resolve the issue.
  16. Mugen Edition Type R

That's crazy seeing the parts can be purchased separately already.
  17. Send feedback to Honda to make optional some Euro Type R items

How often will she be riding in the car? I must've missed it, unless it's going to be her car, then I'm thinking a little compromise can be worked out. Good luck!
  18. Send feedback to Honda to make optional some Euro Type R items

Will it be your wife's car seeing the reason for not having one is she dislikes the red interior?
  19. I Love Comfort Mode.

You're not alone. I'm on comfort mode majority of the time. I'm only on sport mode when I forget and on R mode on canyon runs. I feel that for the day to day driving in traffic, comfort is more than enough.
