NJ driver here too. I hated the low profile tires on my 2011 Sonata because of this. I kept getting bubbles in the sidewall. I only had that car 3 years and I probably replaced 6 tires due to potholes. I'm only 3000 miles in on my Civic, so I'm knocking on wood right now.
i'm just stating things that i miss from my previous daily driver, as the thread requested. i realize it's apples and oranges - i wasn't comparing. i was just merely listing the little things i miss. if my previous daily driver was a f-150, i'd say i miss the bed and 4wd....and it would still...
I'm all for eBay for certain things. But buying knock off lug nuts will not be one of them. It's one thing to get a cheap cell phone charger that might only last a year. It's another to have your wheel pop off when you're on the highway. Most non-knock off lug nuts on eBay are similarly priced...
i've got a pretty good laundry list of things i miss. i'm coming from a 2015 hyundai sonata limited, that was totaled in an accident.
As someone said, not featuring homelink was a shocker. i miss the heated steering wheel and air-conditioned seats. i miss the blind spot detection system...
interesting. These look like they might work. and the price is great! I'm going to reach out to them to make sure they would work. thanks for the heads up.
This is EXACTLY what happened to mine. Except that mine happened both times during normal driving. It wasn't because of someone merging or abruptly stopping. In your case, it sounds like this could be a really dangerous problem we're encountering.
I don't have time to get to the dealer...
So something happened a couple of times in the past few days while I was driving on the highway. I'd be using the ACC when all of a sudden it feels like the car just loses power. What's really happening is that the ACC is turning off without me doing anything, so my car just immediately starts...
I just recently acquired a 2017 Hatchback Sport Touring. A big part of the reason for going with the ST over the EX-L was the wheels. I love the dark look of them, but the chrome lug nuts seem a little out of place.
That being said, i just can't justify buying black lug nuts and lock nuts...
imo, it's ok. i feel like the infinity system in my 2015 Hyundai Sonata was a little more powerful. but i'm not a real audiophile or anything. also, i haven't messed much with the settings yet in the Honda. Usually, i just turn up the bass and treble a little and reduce the mid range by a...
what are some good websites to get model specific mods? i'm new to honda, i was previously a hyundai guy and i had a bunch of sites i used to go to for mods (i.e. sharkracing.com). are there any similar sites for civics? i interested in interior lighting, and performance mods.
it kind of sucks that it's such a difference in MPG. that being said, i still get 40+ on my commute with my hatch, which is way better than my previous 2 hyundai sonatas.
the only reason why i think i have a slow leak is because i stopped when the warning came on and topped if off. then check the pressure 30 miles later and it was low again. but then it didn't lose any overnight parked in my driveway. i topped it off again when i left for work this morning and...
