Getting desperate before trying to somehow have this towed… tried the usb module which entered maintenance mode. Replaced the rear rotor and pads. Engaged the brakes through the app again but it errored. Now it won’t let me send it back into maintenance mode… I can’t even unlock the parking...
I’m bias… I open my garage and get to stare at two FK8s… this would make me a sad panda to look at daily. It’s so… bland? That’s probably why many like it though which I get!
I love radical/ “ugly” cars. It’s just something about edges, wings, vents, etc that I need in life… plus those seats...
2018 Honda Civic Type R shift knob with only dealer to home milage on it - $40 buyer pays shipping (small flat rate should be under $10).
2018 Honda Civic Type R (stock air box with most parts??) - $20 for each buyer pays shipping (This is large and has some weight so I would assume $40-70...
Just saw another CTR today in downtown Detroit. I see them from time to time but it’s definitely way more rare than a C8 or GT350 etc around here… common cars :P
Identical sound on my 2021 CTR… nothing like this on my 18… been trying to figure it out for weeks. Placing pads all over the damn place with no success.
lol... entirely off topic... but I hauled 12 bags of mulch and 40 paving stones a few weekends back. Plus we camped numerous nights within my '18 CTR. Plenty of space in these monsters and I think it's a huge advantage for us keeping stock ride height on a daily. (I know that's not for everyone...
That's awesome paragon is doing that for us! I was searching to see how much the hats were for the CTR... Thank you for researching this.
Although... for that price... Selling these bad boys once it's time for replacement and back to centric blanks :)
Sorry about the delay!
Michelin PS4S 265/35/18 - Stock suspension - No rub on '18 and '21. I run the identical wheels (except black) on a 2018 CTR CW as well (matching tires).
Okay... this is gonna sound pretty stupid.
I run a 93 hondata base tune on a 2018 and I love the changes it made to the car. One of the things I’ve noticed compared to my stock 2021 (minus intake) is the significant difference in fuel economy (getting noticeable better MPG with the hondata...
I'm only 5'9 and an avid runner so my frame fits the car well. Although nearly hitting 40 so I make some odd sounds getting in and out of it. Especially with a helmet on at the track lol...
I noticed a drastic improvement in mileage after doing the Hondata flash. The 2018 is flashed for...
Ha! I'm not even comparing the Exige to it! I'm just saying in general... My previous cars were lackluster as it comes to being comfy... The 2018 Type R felt great and does everything we ever ask of it. Great MPG (Fuelly 32+ every trip), amazing storage capacity, beyond comfy seats, great AC and...
I’m sure everyone’s is different. I did this in 2018 with a rear brake job. Got the error. Readjusted my torq spec on the replaced spindle. It received the error for about 3 days and eventually the parking brake spun itself back into the correct position. I’m not the only one here that this...
We have been camping with the R throughout Michigan for a few years now! Love it due to the space and practicality.
We even sleep in the R during cold rainy nights :) it’s very comfortable!
I LOVED my Avid1 06 on previous vehicles but they didn't make them 5x120 so I couldn't snag them for the Type R. I'd gladly use them again in the future if they started to make wheels for our cars.
I live in metro Detroit... our roads are worse than Baghdad mortar holes... I can't justify ever...
Honda dealers are pretty much the new movie theaters and popcorn.
epic snag! I walked out of the dealership like... god damn... this wasn’t like my 2018 LOL
it’s now 37,895+995. It’s on all the window stickers plus on Honda.com
i had no idea they upped MSRP during the model year. I know they have done it between each model year.
