My question isn't whether *I* should know to change the air filter, but what the computer operates on to determine when the air filter should be changed? If the MM thinks the air filter should be replaced every 30k, I think that's bogus. I'm a data-driven individual and I like to know the...
Thanks for your response. I started searching and found the same note regarding #2. I figure if changing air filter at 15k is considered appropriate for dusty conditions, that I'm probably not due at 20k. So I'm satisfied at this point.
How many miles do you have at this point? I assume you...
I'm at 20k miles and just got my 15% oil life warning with a 'B' scheduled maintenance (no number after). I expected to see a 'B2' at this point indicating that I'd need to swap out the air filter. I actually expected it at 15k miles so now I'm concerned.
How often does the MM request an air...
Check that the intake is properly attached. When mounting the parts of the piping facing away from you (underside) it's possible to misjudge the alignment and cause a leak somewhere. Check that the MAF isn't fouled. Give the MAF a good soak of carb cleaner. Make sure the air filter isn't over oiled.
So I have a "Car Settings" app that lets me configure all sorts of car related items light headlight and cabin light timings, MPH/KMH, open door notices, lane watch, etc...a lot of stuff EX related that don't even apply to me. Way down that list is a section called "Other Settings" where there...
Sorry to hear you are not having luck locating the option. When I first initially setup my stereo, I had to pick a certain model (sorry, it's been a while so details are fuzzy) in order to get full functionality of my steering wheel buttons. I don't know if that gave me the ability to control...
Heads up for anyone that has one of the aftermarket Android stereos from China.
I did my oil change and couldn't reset my MM afterwards. I have the LX/Sport Hatchback so I had the basic stereo and usually reset the MM on the HUD by cycling to the oil life screen and holding the menu button for...
How do you enable Google Assistant on these Android stereos? I don't see an option under Settings>Google like on my phone. I've had my unit for a while now and haven't gotten around to addressing this until now.
I own mine, but I have a question. Do you get free updates? Say Hondata adds features to their tune, can you go back to the dealer and get a free flash? And does it cost you to go back to stock?
Tint World cuts their tint on a plotter-like device so they don't have to do the whole cutting to size on the outside surface. That's how I got mine done and I'm sure there are others who use the same process.
The link I used on DrToothache's OP got me a Quad-core, 2GB RAM, 32 GB storage, Android 7, w/ matte black finish. It doesn't have unlimited sleep, but I'm hesitant to even set mine to a couple of hours, so no loss for me.
On the Bluetooth menu where you pair your device, there should be an icon that looks like a phone w/a musical note. That is where you would play your music through Bluetooth after you pair your device.
I knew left-hand drive vehicles have their headlights aimed slightly right to not blind oncoming traffic (and vice-versa for right-hand drive), but I have never heard of one headlight pointing down for that reason. Maybe for an automatic headlight system, but not for one manually set.
Edit: Figured it out. If you swipe down from the top like you are trying to view notifications there is a menu button there (three vertical dots). When you push that, a [Settings] pop-up appears in the lower-right corner. I think I tried this before but didn't notice the [Settings] pop-up and...
I bought Bosch to replace my stocks because the stocks chattered like crazy and was embarrassing for a new ride. I couldn't find any in 14" which is what the backs are so they are still there (and chattery).
Glad to hear you had a good experience with your head units. The fact you are considering upgrading your Si after saying you are hesitant recommending others with up-model units doing so says a lot for these.
As for my HU, I am glad to report I finally got the FlashPro working with mine. The...
One thing I lost when I factory wiped the system is the app that allows you to change the panel light colors through an RGB wheel. I can't find the APK on the system and my online searches have been fruitless.
