Yea this has happened to me since owning the car. Hondata seems to have toned it down a little? I just lightly apply throttle to lessen the jerk nowadays though.
Thats an assumption.. haha. Nonetheless, It is still a car from a Japanese company. If you are so concerned, then why not own a car that was actually made in Japan?
I think this is a fair observation. I wonder what the engineers had in mind for this. I’d also bring up that hondata did their comparisons for various intakes vs stock and they found that stock worked better than most. Even some CAIs
Welp. turns out I had no damage, issue verified, no leaks. They just evacuated the system, refilled it with new fluid, and put dye. The issue is fixed for now, but if it happens again, I'd have to bring it in.
Wow Im having issues with my 2017 HB at 13k. Warm air on driver's side but cold on passengers. I have an appointment tomorrow. Will update the thread after.
I hate to speak against the topic, but is there a car that does not scratch comparably easy to our Civics? The gloss black trim is just vinyl/plastic which is no where near hard. What would be a better alternative? Coat the cars our of the factory with Ceramic coating? Clear coat is not gorilla...
The trunk in the Sport/Sport Touring is actually higher, not shorter. Thats how the center exhaust has room to fit.
The trunk is lower on the non Sport/SportTouring models. That is why The Sport exhaust won't plug and play without modification.
If you compare the trunk liner for non sport and...
Y'all, check your tire pressures and besure they are pumped to 34~ PSI.
As long as you conserve momentum, MPG should be great with any car.
Don't gas to red
coast in gear to red lights/stop signs as early as possible
don't brake if not needed, converting momentum to brake friction is a waste...
It depends on the hill's incline. if it is a light incline, it may as well be enough to let go of the pedal and leave it in drive. If you speed still increases faster than you'd like, then you can shift drive mode to S, press the - paddle shifter if you have a sport CVT, or go down a gear in...
There is no harm. You can engine brake just by letting go of the gas and be moving greater than 15mph.
In street driving, to maximize mpg, one would want to be in the highest gear without lugging the engine. In Auto trans, you can let the ECU handle this. CVT is especially good at this because...
Yuuupp. graphs, colors, UI, and other functionality are in the works. I just finally got around to getting it mounted in my car.
The info is via USB - OBD connection.
