  1. FL5 vs FK8, Track and Dyno with HP Jason and Science of Speed

I still remember when he said: The 10th Gen Civic SI will have a 2.0lt engine, according to an inside Honda source. 🤡
  2. Cali Cop tells Elantra N owner it will cost him $7k to remove factory track mode

There is a dashcam video from the Elantra POV. The guy was very stupid to admit that was using track mode. He also was a bit aggressive in the way he was talking to the officer. For sure the outcome would be another if he just said that the car was unmodified while keeping a calm tone of voice...
  3. Cali Cop tells Elantra N owner it will cost him $7k to remove factory track mode

It was tested in Sport mode. I follow the Reddit thread. The rules say that the car must be tested in the default mode. In the case of the Elantra, it cycles back to normal when you turn off and on the vehicle. The test result is invalid. A competent lawyer should put that car on the streets...

  10. Follow-up to Who needs an EV

Time is money. 40 minutes more than before is a hefty penalty to pay.
  11. Follow-up to Who needs an EV

My only two problems with the tech are 1. Recharge times - is a hassle as much as people want to sugarcoat it. 2. Vehicle cost - Still too expensive. Some brands are coming out with lower-priced versions but the specs are also on the low end too. For now, the tech still needs to mature more...

Don't sell it. Keep it. You will regret it. Get a beater SUV.
  15. Looking for a new CTR, any near you?

Sorry to burst your bubble. I hope that "comfortably" means up to mid $50Ks. You will not find any CTR below the 40s. Beware of those below 40s, they might have hidden traps. In March I was looking for one. Everyone was adding $10K, even checked out of state dealers. Moved to a completely...
