The % rating for each reason sounds a lot like buyers remorse for spending $40k on a Civic.
You could've easily bought a set of aftermarket 18s or take off wheels from another Honda vehicle for "cheap" and sold your type R wheels to cover the cost.
Wow, Honda put no thought or effort into this car to make it worthy of an SI badge. A different type of wheel or even color choices would've been nice.
That's .1 second slower in the quarter mile than the previous Civic Si. Not bad considering it's down on power and wasn't designed to be a fast car.

Sounds like you need these for you Mustang to fix the issues you have with it.

The CTR is...
It really depends on the color imo. I saw a white one from a distance yesterday evening, and the inserts on the rear bumper stood out like a sore thumb. The vehicle looks great in black and gray though. I'm still waiting to run into a blue one (my fav color) to see how it looks.
Crazy thing, I finally saw my FIRST hatchback on the road (highway). It was behind me and instantly new it was a hatch because of the black grille. As I exited off the highway it passed me and I realized it was a Sport model in Polished Metal Metallic.
This model looks absolutely stunning...
IIRC, the '14 Si had some minor upgrades that helped the body roll/handling compared to the '13 Si? Maybe that's why he had a different experience than you?
The Civic Touring Sedan CVT is faster than the previous gen Civic Si in straight line. There's no doubt the new Si is going to be even faster and handle better.
Numbers aren't everything, the Si will be quite a bit lighter and will get the power down better compared to the Focus ST because of the LSD. My money is on the Si being the faster car because of it (stock vs stock)
Hyundai has stepped their game, they no longer make a car that was an embarrassment like their 90s offerings. The Elantra Sport is just the beginning, wait for their N Performance models to come out.
If they can get their mpg on par with Honda, they would have a home run with their current...
The biggest reason to get this over a non-Si is the LSD and suspension. Those things alone are well worth the price upcharge from a non-Si model. I would be perfectly fine if Honda officially states power at only 200 hp, we'll know it'll be under-rated.
Doesn't the EX weigh just as much as the Sport? The weels are only an inch smaller but it has a sunroof. Or are the larger wheels the only deciding factor when it comes to the mpg difference?
Not really referring to brake fade when I'm talking about a better pad, but more so a better bite. Kind of like upgrading the oem tires that were designed for EPA ratings for a tire that grips better.
OP is a 10 year vet on BITOG forum. I don't think he's trying to be a troll.
