It was a malfunction speed sensor.
Parts were $50. Labor was about $300 but he hooked me up with $75 off. So I paid about $315 total to get it done. Pretty quick job.

I just installed it. I imagine it would work pretty well. What do you guys think?
I like it because 1) I don't have to stick anything to my phone like the magnetic ones ask me to and 2) It's non-obtrusive and 3) very easy for me to slide my phone in and out.
