TTT. Just realized this is the race model...guess silver and black is race and the blue one is carb. I had the tune in my car for so long I didn't know. ‍♂️
I have a Hondata FlashPro for sale. I had it in my 2016 Civic EXT. Got rid of the car and I no longer have use for it.
$475 shipped with insurance. Thanks.
I 100% totally agree with you. I had a conversation with a slimeball at Honda yesterday that told me 10k markup was a very fair deal. trying to sell me on the car with his pre-programmed tactics and one liners.
It's a long story that DC and I discussed. Long story short, I had to return the flashpro. Hopefully I'll be getting it back soon.
Mods, you can close this. Thanks.
Hi there.
Does anyone have flashpro version 2.6.6.0 they can share with me? Having some issues with a flashpro I bought and trying to narrow it down.
Thanks
Shit. That sucks. Stay patient. Dont do something financially silly. You will get one eventually. There's a lot more coming plus you have 2018 cars to choose from in a year. Then there's the used market eventually. The hype will die down. If you have 40k to spend start looking at other sports...
Call dealers that are owned by big corporations. They tend to have ethical standards. For example the Penske Honda near me sells for MSRP. It's against company policy to go over. Just a thought.
I drove a coupe yesterday and totally anticipated buying it but I couldn't get over the absolute lack of clutch resistance and zero clutch engagement feel.
I ended up trying 2 Si's and both were identical.
What's your opinion on the clutch? Clearly it wasn't a deal breaker for you...
so i read somwhere that 450 have been sold so far. arent there supposed to be like 3,000 2017's made? then you'll have 2018 to buy one then 2019 and so on. Honda isnt going to can the production of this car so quickly. by waiting you'll be able to save money and get exactly what you want.
I read all these threads and posts where people are paying over msrp. Its totally outrageous. I found a few dealers on the east coast where the car is in stock at msrp. it would be worth a $1,000 plane ticket and fuel to have to drive it home. bring a roll of blue 3m tape and wrap it before you...
I had a 2012 TSX Special Edition and currently have a 2015 Optima Limited. Both had that crappy black stuff in the tips. When I realized it started flaking, I was able to polish it all out with Noxon Metal polish and a dremel.
I'm sure nobody is going to like what I have to say but as a long time Honda owner who has dreamed(Since 1996) of the day a CTR came to the US, I am not thrilled over this car. I feel like it missed the mark of what Type R should be. I'm really wondering if its going to catch on and be a huge it.
