If you haven't re-bled the rear brakes yet, I would. The service repair manual (you can just google it and download for free) indicates that you should bleed all four calipers in the following order:
Front Driver, Front Passenger, Rear Passenger, Rear Driver.
Then, actuate the ebrake 5 times...
If you decide to keep it for a while, drill a small hole at the very tip of the crack to prevent it from spreading. You could even get creative with it and 'stitch' it back together with zip ties.
To me, that would make me think your car would be over filled. If you're checking it before it settles into the pan and you're using the full mark as a point of reference to how much you have filled, then when it finally is fully settled and you check it (like you're supposed to), then it should...
My guess is that it is easier access by just pivoting your thumb, instead of possibly having to change your hand position to access the button. But depends on where your hand is resting on the wheel.
You could swap to a dry-flow style filter. No oiling step, making cleaning much easier. Better for the environment not having thrown filters into the trash.
Over time, brake fluid absorbs moisture, making your brakes spongy and less receptive. It can also lead to your brake fluid boiling under heavy/extreme braking conditions. No Bueno. I've heard recommendations of changing it out every few years as a precautionary measure. I certainly wouldn't...
So, just as a question and that I would never do it, but if you were to switch to a Motec tuning system or the likes, could you in theory, rework the car to run properly for a vent-to-atmosphere blow off valve?
With coupon you can get a nicer harbor Freight jack (blue and silver aluminum) racing jack with quick jack features, etc. Still wouldn't reach to the center jacking point on our cars, but it sure is a nice jack for the price, plus it's very light.
Something like this. There are different specs...
I feel like i have noticed something similar. mine is a '17 si sedan with >6k miles. most of the time it goes unnoticed, but it stops making noise when i turn the A/C off.
Do you have a picture? If there's enough stud to thread two nuts onto it, you can wrench on the lower nut to snug against the top nut to try to extract the stud.
I do plan on running a Mishimoto when they get more in stock. From what people that do have those cans have gathered from them, I'd rather catch that than recirculate it. I typically do very short drives or very long drives, so I can probably benefit from one.
From my understanding, direct injection causes fuel to blow past the piston rings and into the crank case, diluting the oil with fuel. This can cause the oil level to rise on the dipstick.
Is your phone up to date? I've had a few issues on iOS 11, but it was always resolvable through unplugging and replugging the phone in.
I'm now currently on iOS 12 public beta and it's runs great (better than iOS 11.)
Only legal way would be mounted where it's supposed to go or maybe see about getting a sticker at the DMV to buy your way out of a front plate, if they offer that.
On my '00 civic, I have my front plate zip tied to the lower grille.
