Thanks for this! My screen was working fine till today morning when it stayed off despite trying the trusty 'turning the car off/on' technique. Even the touch controls weren't lighting up, nore was there any power to the usb port that is for android auto.
Was pretty sure it had to be a blown...
The parts were delivered today and I installed them right away. Took just half hour, so definitely such a money saver to DIY this one. Was really easy to pry off the old ones with any kind of pick tool if you place the new ones over the old so you know exactly wear the hooks are under the...
I just ordered the moldings from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
For anyone who needs them the part numbers (for the sedan) are:
72410-TBA-A01 Molding Assembly, R Front Door
72910-TBA-A01 Molding Assembly, R Rear Door
72950-TBA-A01 Molding Assembly, L Rear Door...
Thank you for this! It was actually reassuring to see someone else understand this pain. Which website did you order yours from? Hondapartsnow seems to be out of stock
Same! I park mine in our open driveway, which of course means insane heat levels. It is so hot my Vava dashcam's adhesive suction mount started melting and it was oozing down from the top of my windshield like a slug!
Oh they look dry and hard but whenn you press it with your finger a piece comes off like a sticky flake! You can see portions where a small segment is missing because of us touching it lol
I noticed about a year back that all 4 doors outer window trim has been disintegrating and is pretty awful to look at...I think the cause might have been a combo of the Texas heat and the weekly auto-car wash chemicals.
I ordered replacements from hondapartsnow.com, but put the package away for...
So I got my 2016 Civic EX-L in the beginning on 2016, so it's about 6.5 yrs old now. I've still been taking to my nearby Gillman Honda dealership for servicing and repairs. But have been wondering, would it be smarter to take it to a 3rd party now that I'm well outside any warranty period? Or...
Do the re-calibration 3 times and see if that fixes the TPMS low tire pressure warning. As in get the warning, re-calibrate, then get the warning again after a day or two, re-calibrate, and then repeat one more time. For whatever reason it takes me 3 times to get it to stay away.
I have had the same problem of the low tire pressure warning coming on after servicing. I took it to the dealer a few times and it was quite a headache since they would fix whatever they found and say it looked good just to have the warning come back on in 48hrs. I finally just recalibrated it...
Oh does it really have the same water repellant power in the wiper fluid too? Cause I went to Autozone to pick up one, but they were out of stock so I just got Prestone Bug Wash. But apparently Prestone also has water repellant ability but I don't really feel like that is as effective as the...
I had mine connected with an Add-a-fuse to the 'smart entry' 10A fuse slot...but I have noticed because of this my dash cam wasn't turning off when I turn off my car ever, and this might have been the real cause for my battery getting drained to empty (also cause I don't drive that often, just...
I just started using this after I wash my car by hand and you're absolutely right! Just yesterday when I was driving through a light rain shower I was amazed to watch the beads of water just rolling off my windshield lol.
Hmmm seems a lot of people are for the OEM refills. Second place seems to be silicone blades, which make sense since they should last way longer.
Saw a good deal with great reviews and 6 months warranty for these:
Beam Force XTREME 26”+18” Wiper Blades w/Japanese Fukoku Rubber for Longest Life...
Yeah I read about how silicone wipers are supposed to last far longer that the traditional rubber wipers.
I was also looking at those RainX wipers that apparently also coat your windshield with their water repellent, but as expected that special feature is short-lived.
It's definitely past time for me to replace my wipers and I'm sure that by now some of you guys have favorites for your windshield wipers. So tell me which ones do you recommend I buy to replace my stock wipers?
I park my Civic on my driveway and drive it every other day, but it is so annoying how it gets dirty from just sitting in the driveway. The light showers seem to be getting my car dirty by leaving dust dirt remnants all over my car. I didn't drive it last week for about 4 days and almost thought...
So I'm considering just abandoning the Genuine Honda Battery for a better battery with more reserve power for when I'm not driving it for a few days. Any suggestions from those who have upgraded their battery?
