  1. Spark plugs

I actually ended up buying them from Rock Auto and it was around the same price as from clubplug lol. But Thanks anyway.
  2. Spark plugs

Been a long time since I've posted. It's time for me to replace my spark plugs in my 2016 2.0L Civic. I'm in Okotoks near Calgary. Just wondering where people have found the cheapest to get new plugs. Most places local I've seen online are around $27 a plug. Hoping to find them cheaper...

  4. Car heating up problems

I have a 2016 2.0L and I've noticed the same thing basically since brand new. Takes forever to heat up. Even when its around freezing outside. I'm just south of Calgary Alberta. I can drive from my house to Mcdonalds for a coffee then head out of town for work. That's about 10 mins of driving...
  5. How many kms/miles do you get on a full tank?

I usually get between 650-750km on a tank. That's about 75% highway (120km/h but heavy traffic) and around 25% in townit's of red lights). Once I did get 588km on 29 liters. Driving in the mountains and then highway driving to work and city driving. That's about 47 mpg or 4.9 L/100km. Right now...
  6. 2016 Civic engine recall - piston pin snap ring issue affecting some VINs

My car was fixed and I have yet to see any issues so far
  7. Routing Power Wire for Subwoofer

Taking the plastic off at the back is fairly easy and it's easy to run the cable. The only part I didn't like about that is the cable comes out in the top part of the trunk inside.
  8. Routing Power Wire for Subwoofer

I just took the door sills off and ran the cable there. That was the easiest part
  9. Routing Power Wire for Subwoofer

8 gauge will probably be fine. Not sure what Rockford recommends. My amp required 4 gauge so that's what I ran. There is a thread in here somewhere about it and I ran the power wire the same place they did. There is no need to take seats out unless you want to run it a different route to the back
  10. Infotainment System Crapped Out

I had problems with mine for almost a year. The false warnings, the flickering screen. Then one time the screen went completely red. They replaced the unit but it was an older one. Then my screen went wonky again and went black and nothing would work. They replaced the unit again with a newer...
  11. Routing Power Wire for Subwoofer

I tried to go through the grommet for the hood release cable like some other people did in a previous thread on here. But I can sure tell you, there is no way a 4 gauge wire will go through. That's for sure. I ended up just drilling a hole right above that one and ran it through there. I...
  12. DSP Flat

I just happened to put a sub and amp in my car running a line convertor off of the rear speaker outputs. I was finding the bass was cutting out at higher levels but only on some songs. So I figured it was something to do with the factory stereo since the amp wouldn't cut out when hitting harder...
  13. First Oil Change

Even if you take it in when it hits 20 or 30% won't hurt. But the way I see it if you take it in before approximately 5000 miles you are just wasting your money.
  14. First Oil Change

Why would you? That's barely any miles and the A just tells them what service needs to be done.
  15. First Oil Change

Most of my mileage is highway. I live in Okotoks and work in Calgary.
  16. First Oil Change

Honda never told me a mileage to go off of. They told me to bring it in when the car tells me to. 32,000kms and still havn't had my 2nd oil change yet. Just hit 20%
  17. Where do Canadians buy their upgrades?

Has anyone found the cheapest place to get fog lights for your civic that did not come with fogs?
  18. well, just got rid of my touring

Ya when you have a 2014 Ford F150 and have only had it for a year and everyone is getting laid off you don't really want to have that big truck payment and gas bill. I pay $200 less a month now and maybe half of what I was spending on gas. Gotta do what you gotta do.
  19. well, just got rid of my touring

I'd like to trade in for something different but I owe just over 30 grand for my 2016 LX lol. Stupid poor choices.
  20. to: 2016 civics owner - is the cabin loud?

Hell the 2.0 is loud when you accelerate. I've never owner a vehicle newer than 1985 that was this loud in the cabin when accelerating with stock engine/exhaust. The engine is louder than my 2006 magnum was with a hemi
