  1. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

Well, I bought a 2014 Q60 AWD to replace my 2016 GTI. As I expected, on a Honda forum, fanbois will always, no matter what car, defend a Honda using "cost of ownership" calculations. Even if you can tune a 1.5T into being competitive on paper, you can never tune-out the FWD. I paid $20.9k for...
  2. WTH Honda!?

Last night my wife and I test drove: 2018 Civic Si 2018 Sport Hatch (base) 2018 Accord 2.0T 6MT And my impression is, "WTH Honda!??!?" Why the heck did you guys put the 2.0T into the Accord, but not the Si?!?!? The difference in performance between the Accord 2.0T and Si is mind-boggling...
  3. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

Cheng, My wife and I drove a Sport Hatch, Civic Si and Accord 2.0T 6MT last night. And I drove the G37x again. My opinion, the 1.5T is way too underpowered when considered against anything with sporting intentions. After driving so many cars, I couldn't even imagine wanting to own a 1.5T...
  4. Another one rear ended...

Structural damage would be apparent from a visual inspection, no reason to think this is voodoo science or something. If your car was hit hard enough for structural damage, something on the exterior wouldn't be lined up right. I used to work in a body shop, I have seen wrecked cars that were...
  5. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

2013 Sedan with only 46k miles...
  6. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

Sorry, I may be including a few sub-2012 model years...
  7. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

I'm just so quick to call out your assertion because Honda fanbois will scan this thread to bash anything non-Honda and soon the thread will devolve into how stupid it is to compare an LS460 to a Civic.
  8. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

I believe we have 3 newer G37s 6MT coupes for sale up here in WA State, I found them on CL and Autotrader. I believe they are all lower miles with Navigation also. I was seriously tempted, but traffic in the PNW and my wife insist that I get an AT car. IIRC all 3 G37 6MT coupes are below $20k...
  9. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

Where did anyone say they were cross shopping an LS460 to a Civic? I was just mentioning, in passing, that as great as the G37 is the LS460 was way better. No mention of LS460 vs. Civic, unless you have comprehension issues? If you read the OP's post, you'll see the OP is shopping a G37 against...
  10. Used 2017 Civic Si vs. Used 2012 Infiniti G37s

OK, I just test drove a 2014 Q60 AWD Coupe 7AT and we have test driven Civics recently. I arrived at the dealer in my 2016 GTI, for reference. I will preface this with, IMO, as fairly as I can I truly believe the GTI is FAR superior to a Civic Si, and even my wife agreed the GTI is in many...
  11. My experience thus far with Civic X...

You are on a Honda site, there's tons of fanbois here. You can't have a subjective discussion about cars at all. I have been on here prior to CivicX being released, and when it was released, all of these stories started coming out about the car. Including dash vents that wander in the summer...
  12. OEM floor mats are CHEAP!

I saw a Sport Hatchback with HFP floor mats that seemed to be more durable. Anybody have any thoughts on the HFP floor mats?
  13. 10th Generation Civic Rust alert!

That rust is totally normal. The one concern I have is the cracked steel in the first picture. Did you buy this car used? Almost seems like it may have been in an accident
  14. $4,530 for 0.5 liter?

Hey LOOK a real life experience between the 1.5T and 2.0T: http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/241-10th-generation/495530-test-drove-1-5-2-0-a.html
  15. 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport 6MT (US, California) - Carplay/Android Auto

I suggest the Pioneer AVH-2330NEX. HD radio, CP/AA, super stable doesn't bug out and require a "reboot". Get that and a Metra install kit. I have the 2330 in my truck, it is far better than the Honda Infotainment system.
  16. $4,530 for 0.5 liter?

OP you are just trying to make yourself feel better about having a weak 1.5 engine. The 2.0T, as I understand it, adds: HUD Power Seats Sunroof a REAL transmission, not a rubber band droner and I am sure I am leaving stuff out. Oh, and it'll do 102mph at the end of a 1/4 mile, it is not merely...
  17. Owner comparison - 10th ex-t sensing vs. Lexus IS 200t F-sport

Not an odd comparison! I remember about a year ago there was a thread in the CivicX vs. forum about the IS200t. The infotainment issues you and others have had resolved me to avoid all Hondas with this setup. Ridgeline and new Accord owners are reporting similar issues. My wife wants a hatch...
  18. Woke up to wheels stolen

So what if you get video of someone stealing your wheels? You need clear video of the vehicle they are driving in and a clear shot of the license plate. I always see videos online of people's stuff getting stolen, great you have video of some random person wearing a hoodie, now what are you...
  19. 2018 Sport reliability vs. 2016 initial problems

All of the Preludes (1987, 1991 and 2001) I have had have the same peeling black over chrome trim as what has been posted about the CivicX. I wonder what the heck is wrong with Honda that they haven't come up with an alternative yet?
  20. 2018 Sport reliability vs. 2016 initial problems

Yeah, you are wrong: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120957812B/Metra-95-7812B-Dash-Kit-Matte-Black.html?tp=3121&awkw=207613060585&awat=pla&awnw=g&awcr=106648188985&awdv=c&awug=9033394 http://www.civicx.com/threads/lx-radio-replacement-thread.2116/page-11
