    You don't have a caliper piston press that fits to retract the pads? If not, and you're going to do your own repairs, invest in the right tools.

    Retract the pads/pistons before punching the pins out. Punch the lower pin out first and reinstall it last. The lower pin has more room than the top to manuever any tools around. Also easier to fully install the top pin first.

    You wouldn't want to block coolant. As part of the cylinder head, you need to extract the heat or it will get damaged.

    Stock OEM coolant. Maybe, but couple hundred RPMS here and there...every little bit helps. Even the Acuity hoses are only 4°F cooler.
