Friggin sweet. I never thought they'd offer the 2.0T with a 6. I was convinced I was going to get an Si...not that I'd be disappointed with another one, but yeah, I'm happy with this Accord.
@romiata
Sort of off topic, but sort of not (since it's in your pics with the R)...how long have you had the Garage Deck flooring and are you happy with it? Debating putting it in my garage next spring, but not sure as it'll cost quite a bit more than putting down a high quality, high solids...
I'm guessing he just means the general finish of Honda paint. My FG2 was Taffeta White and had an orange peel look to the paint vs. a smoother finish, my wife's Pilot is the same color with the same orange peel finish as well, although it being 7 years newer than my last Si, I think the finish...
Sweet dude!
Seeing you picked it up in Buffalo, and live in NC...maybe that was you I saw in the black Type-R on I-79 southbound, a little north of Pittsburgh, PA around 6 PM yesterday?
This car looks great in black either way...and this was the first R I saw in person...too bad it was on the...
Congrats on the Si!
I'm interested in seeing how the spare fits in the trunk too! I really can't believe how many manufacturers are not including a spare tire standard with a car anymore, or what the reasoning is. Saving 35lbs in weight? How about being stuck on some backroad when you get a...
They're most likely in those two plastic rectangles on the floor of the cargo area. That where the anchor points were in my last hatchback anyways.
ETA: Nevermind, after looking at the pic again, they're in the back of the seat, just like the wife's Pilot, duh.
Thanks for comparing the 8th gen! That's where I'll be moving from, comparison wise.
To me this car sounded good, even though so many people seem unhappy with what it is. Looks like it has some potential, and stock-for-stock, seems like an overall better Si than it's predecessors.
Now I just...
From someone that has owned a couple sets of both, I feel the Weathertechs cost a little more for a reason. Huskys are nice enough, if you're looking to save some money they will do the job, but the fit/finish of them doesn't compare to Weathertech IMO.
I'm on the fence between just getting an Si or blowing the extra wad on an R, but I won't be in the market until at least this time next year anyways. That gives me time to see other peoples' opinions and crap, and I'm hoping that having to wait a year or more from launch will calm the demand...
