The uk is banning the sale of petrol and electric cars from 2030....so this is likely the last type r we will get. And if Europe follows suit, you have to ask if there is enough of a market to do a 12th gen, and by then surely all money will sadly be in ev r&d

Yep two scumbags last night in my street caught on camera, waved a rucksack at a neighbours front door, which inside had the signal booster, which then allowed the door of the merc to be opened by the second scumbag. Thankfully this merc had no start stop button so they ran off.
I ordered a...
Stock sound was way better than reviewers had said but still wanted more character to match the looks so got the Remus and have not looked back. Each to their own of course!
As they are 20 inch with less rubber protection due to low profile tyres, pot holes will bend them out of shape easily. Sometimes it’s not noticeable until you get your tyres changed. I bought a second hand wheel and thankfully there seems to be quite a few on eBay
Pros
Looks epic
Handling is sublime
Gear change is sexual chocolate
Mpg is fine
Reliability has been faultless for me
Perfect all rounder despite people bangin on about gti or golf r’s
Cons
Standard not that fast for me, or at least feel that fast
Rattles like a snake
Wheels buckle prone...
You’ve bought the wrong car if you want a stop light drag car. Having said that and showing the hypocrite that I am, I do drag mine at a drag track! I find no point ringing it out in 1st gear, get into second and third where torque is not limited.
My daily never so gets a rest (well, before covid). Nearly 400 bhp only recently so first tase of ice skating today, but looking forward to the wrestle
I think it looks good. More aggressive with the performance pack than the outgoing and new gti. Mechanical changes including drift mode mean vw want to make it more a drivers car after the very competent but slightly dull reputation it has. And at last some decent brakes!
Can’t see myself in...
I’d say get an exhaust first and take it from there. Added my remus after year and a half, just made each journey more fun, more character
But depends on your budget of course. Now my cars just came out of warranty, got the injen evo intake, ktuner v1.2 remap live tunning on a dyno to add to...
I am getting the pop bang and crackle map on Saturday by a well known tuner over here. A few people had it no issues so far but not done as excessively as this and no different to what hyundai, bmw and ford do.
(Bought my ktuner off the sgp in the vid above incidentally)
Fair play on the product development, but the one Honda gives as standard works well for me and I drag it a few times a year. Hope you have success though
Bit of a weird question Op! If your a car enthusiast they were a bit hard to ignore! Every motoring website, magazine, Twitter you tube etc...
I had a mk1 Ford focus R.S.....I miss it dearly
