I haven't been around in awhile but wanted to give a quick update- I never had a chance to finish wiring my mirrors up as I had a large tree come down and total my civic. I have had quite a few members ask me how to complete the wiring. @Dan0974 is on the right track for anyone...
You can swap out the switch with the -a11 and you will have swipe (as long as your new car has the touch screen audio, will need to be verified on 2019 models). See thread below:

@KTuner is correct, we determine our shift times! It is entirely dependant on the driver's technique. You can 'force' the rpm to be whatever you want with footwork. The vast majority of posts I see on the forum are: "clutch in, shift, wait xxxx amount of time, and clutch out. Nothing wrong...
Fwiw I have a hydroshield as well. I don't recall any difference-but it has been awhile. Guaranteed if I would have felt a negative difference in performance it would have been uninstalled instantly;)
I finally purchased a Ktuner which should arrive end of next week. I am hoping to get the...
I did not cover those holes. I didn't want to start starving the intake of fresh air locations, as well as I figured not much can get up there to the filter with it being in front of the tire. Putting the foam up top around the strut cutout stopped the majority of the water seepage from what I...
One of the members above (@Sadler , @BMO , @Dying2Live ) will have to answer that for you. The picture you referred from my install above was a swap of cloth oem pieces for complete oem leather pieces I ordered from a Honda parts site. (Pre-built, snap in place, minus the red stitching)
Here are the oem pieces I installed in my car. I re-stitched the trim in red to match the si interior. The factory thread originally was a light gray, almost white color. Imo much better look and feel compared to the cloth. It doesn't collect the gunk as well as feel so rough on bare skinned...
I hear ya on the airbags. In the old days there were shorting plugs used to disable the airbag once the battery was disconnected.
I won't post pictures due to copyrights, but this is the shorthand from the Honda sevice manual for the 10th Gen:
For pulling the drivers airbag disconnect the...
Were you able to ''click" it back in place? If not, it is possible that the lock nut below the shift knob is loose. If it is not tightened up against the knob itself it could explain the excessive gap, as the boot clicks into the lock nut.
There should be no gap between the bottom of the...
Did some sleuthing for you guys. It appears there are 3 part numbers for the steering volume switch:
-A11 is the swipe switch.
-2016-2017 civic sedan/coupes
-A01
-civics with base stereo (some LX,
Sport hatch etc.) The switch does not
have the info button or volume...
Interesting....my screen before the install showed the swipe buttons. After the install my screen now looks exactly like your screenshot, no buttons for swipe.
Guinea pig number 2??:D
