Hey just wanted to get some feed back from you guys if your using one or the other product. Even if you guys are using both to get some ridiculous short throw! I’m looking to get one soon I hate the throw we have on the si! After driving my friends sti I notice he’s is very short.

I'm using the sirimoto adapter, I'm considering getting the boomba one eventually to get an even shorter throw since they both mount at the opposite ends. I honestly installed the sirimoto short shift adapter too soon after buying the car and now I dont even remember what stock feels like.

I have the sirimoto in my sport hatch. I like it but if your looking for very short I think you would need to run the boomba as well.

I think the sirimoto is harder to install. there are install videos for both if you want to get a idea of how much work it will be.

the only thing i don't like about the sirimoto is it requires more force to shift. i think i saw someone say the same thing about the boomba.

you might be better off waiting for a real short shift kit

We offer our short shift adapter which goes under the hood, but we are also planning on releasing an entire short throw shift lever that mounts inside the vehicle as well in the near future!

I think we all knew that, just siting here waiting patiently.

I installed the Boomba short shift adapter. I have the Sirimoto adapter and Sirimoto base bushings.

The short shift adapters seem to work well together. The throws are nice and short (should be about 60% shorter). The only thing I don't like is it requires more force to change gears then stock (seems to be even worse now with the Boomba adapter). Not sure if this is normal for short shift kits because this is my first time trying one.

I tryed it with my cheap eBay weighted shift knob that is counter sunk and is about 1.2 pounds I didn't like shifting with that knob because it sat so low it made the shifts even harder because of lack of leverage.

I swapped to the stock knob and liked that alot more. even though it is way lighter, the extra leverage it gave me (because of how much higher it sits compared to the ebay knob) made shifting feel much better.

Then I swapped to the Boomba weighted shift knob and liked that even more. I'm guessing because it sits at about the same height as the stock knob. Sadly I had to swap back to the stock knob because I had to return the Boomba knob (it came shipped to me with a half inch scratch on it).

The Boomba shift adapter was a easy install. Granted I don't have the stock air box and I was installing my PRL intercooler at the same time so there wasn't anything in the way.
