That's awesome! So just to clarify, you would say that your clutch still feels super light, just like the stock feel? Or does it just feel normal relative to another car that doesn't have a feather light OEM clutch?

Sorry for all the questions, just super excited about the potential of this car!
honestly after you drive the car one day you will not even be able to tell the difference from that point on

I’m pretty sure that is only applicable to the Subaru clutch they were discussing, not all Clutchmasters clutches.
Have you seen anything similar to this for our cars? It would be great to know the exact tolerance for each level.

No but I think it is all percentage based.

I just finished my custom Vittune all stock for now and seeing 25-26psi at peak boost and my clutch is slipping like a mofo can't put any of it down I'd guess its around 280wtq...upgrading to a FX300 or FX350 haven't decided which one yet. Definitely will be jumping on the flex fuel kit here from Vit next year!

FX350

In the meantime, try doing a wot in 4th gear. My co worker told me that the clutch could be glazed and doing wot in high gear can help (worked for me). It's not a permanent fix tho

OP updated with a better explanation of the flex capabilities of KTuner and our Stage tunes.

Graphs to demonstrate this behavior.

Stock vs our Stage 2 tune in "Normal" mode (low boost setting).

And now Stage 2 in "high boost" (Sport Mode) on E40 fuel vs the "low boost" (normal mode) 92 octane setting.

This is all one tune -- I just added ethanol to the tank to make E40 and then hit the "sport button" to give it all she's got. No reflashing, no retuning -- the KTuner programmed ECU is doing it all on the fly with our Flex Fuel kit. Allows for a very dynamic driving experience!

Vit/Ktuner,

I may need to pay for this type of tune to be custom or there may be a CVT tune as somewhat suggested. I have a CVT and I'd want everything that is available horsepower wise past 5700rpm. I don't want or need that much torque leading up to that point as I never utilize the mid-range in any of my driving. I think you know why I chose 5700rpm+ (Torque below this point is above 260ft-lbs). I race in 'L' gear so it stays at max rpm. There's one E85 station on the way to one of the tracks I go to. Otherwise, no stations near me.

Will there be a CVT option/tune similar to what I have described above (Low torque under 5700rpm, max horsepower above 5700rpm+)?

A custom tune can be tailored any which way you want it. You yourself also have the ability to limit boost levels in every gear when starting with the available starter maps.

Why not the FX300? Just curious - it seems like it would have a softer pedal action.
