so your car is back to normal?
So driving home from the dealer it actually felt really good, like all the factory boost was there and the power was there. Im going to go datalog the factory tune since the update just for a baseline, then Ill flash my 93 tune and see what happens. If it doesnt act up, Ill flash the e blend tune and see. The guy said bring it back if it acts up, but I have a feeling Ill need it to be broke for them to figure anything out.

make sure your knock control is the lowest point. back before tuners came out. my car felt fast when knock control was really high then when it settle down to the lowest. it was slower. at least in my head it was.
high knock control was running 15-16psi
lowest knock control i was only getting 11psi

I heard it again even after the fix, but it's much quieter. Not gonna worry about it for now.

Took car to dealer today, they kept it most of the day and was able to replicate the sound....ordered the parts, dropping it off on another day...hope this fixes the rough quick stops too...

In my experience, the service mostly fixes the start sound issue. The sound is still there sometimes, but not as loud or consistent as before.

The rough stop issue is still there (as is rough idle when idling after recently being at higher RPM) - I think this is more of a computer programming issue where the transmission disengagement timing is not perfectly jiving with the actual wheel / transmission speed. To me, it feels like stopping a manual tranny without fully depressing the clutch, then fully pushing the clutch just before the engine dies.

Yeah, its not too often I have to come to a quick stop...its probably not going to fix the car trying to go low speeds, aka 20mph school zone...it wants to almost shift at times, I have gotten used to it, and think a lot of it is the cars power

Love that Aeroflow lip, think I'm pretty sold in looking into getting one for my coupe! Feel bad for hijacking the thread but very compelled to ask how the install was!

Pretty easy, redrilled the side holes so it matches up with the factory bolt location on the bumper.

Dealer completed the noise fix today. Much quieter now, I only hear the starter now.

Not sure why they listed the 7 quarts of CVT fluid - twice-. Unless they had to re-do it for some reason. They told me this is the first CVT noise issue they had to repair.

Forgot to post, had mine worked on last week....dropped it off last thursday at 8am....called about 4pm, car wasn't ready, they gave me a 17' lx crv (not a bad car without lots of features)....Friday I picked it up, told me all was good....don't really think I hear the sound, but been so cold that its not warm after a while...don't really notice anything different, but at least it won't be an issue in the future hopefully....Also assuming this was dealers first go at it as well since it took longer than they thought.
