Yes I did, going to another dealership that's offering $25,250 OTD fresh off the truck, not till the end of this month though
good on you for walking away dude. a lot of ppl get caught up in the moment and cant think straight.
always pay the down payment in credit card (never cash)
inspect the car before you pay the rest of the balance
he at least was willing to give u the money back

HUh, didnt know you could use a credit card when buying a car.
You should always put down payment and deposit on a credit card. There is some level of protection on a credit card transaction where there is none on cash. Obviously you need to pay the cc off or down (not condoning reckless charging). Plus if you have a rewards card then earn those rewards. :)

With us, if you are going to buy a car with a credit card, we have to pull your credit. That protects us in case the customer calls the card company and says that it was an unauthorized charge.

I can understand that. I wouldn't suggest buying the entire car on credit but rather the down payment or deposit so, in the event that something is not delivered correctly, you can easily get your money back not to dispute legitimate charges.

The dealerships that I have deal with in the past cap it around $2000-5000

That’s normal where I am. Dealership lose money on cash back+ Process fee. If you are haggling down to bone, they don’t want to lose more money on top

After LOTS of crazy dealers telling me how HOT/RARE/EXCLUSIVE/ECT the Si was I finally found a deal. The below included a $500 Military so I didn't fight the $795 Pro Pac too hard.

1
) Model of Si and color .. Sedan or Coupe 2017 Sedan WOP
2
) Base price ..MSRP or +~- $21,777
3
) Options added to the car with prices $795
4
) Taxes to include what state you purchased the car from $1593.97 GA
5
) Destination and Dealer fee's if you paid for them $699.00
6
) Dealer that you purchased the car from to include the State Honda Conyers, GA
7
) Final price OTD $24,480.47

My Sales guy was Carlos Holness...no B.S. found me the car I wanted and got it transferred. Super easy all over the phone/internet negotiations and no suprises when I arrived to finalize the deal. Call him if your in the market! Cell # 954-933-0337

When I add up your numbers, I get $24,864. So was the $21,777 price of the car actually $500 or so less w/military discount? And I take it delivery was included in that $21,XXX price? Seems like a good deal even with the $795 addons. In the DC area they would add delivery on top of the $21,XXX price. Which blows.

Yes, you are correct...it was $24,864 then subtract discount for OTD. There was a bit of dealer magic in the middle somewhere but basically I was OTD for around MSRP.

Bottom line, I had a price I was willing to pay and everything else was just numbers. Always negotiate off you final price...nothing else matters!

$24,480 wow!

I first came to a price agreement with the dealership. Then I was like... by the way... I am a Costco member. Give me some extra lovin' plz. And OTD was so low already, they said they will only give me $200 off additionally.

If I replaced that with a militaryID for $500, I would have made it OTD as same as you.

I also have $845 in accessories ^_^

This new dealership is very persistent in selling me my car this weekend or before noon Monday due to HONDA incentives (dealer cash) will be gone for the new month.. is this true?
