So I was about to press the buy button on the Stage 2 VitTune Ktuner with the PRL racing front pipe and down pipe. The page says they saw 120+ torque and 80+ HP with that tune and pipe combo. I don't know if I would expect that much... but thought I'd ask opinions on if I might spend that money on something else or if that's the combo I should go with.

Those numbers may refer to gains achieved with an e85/93 octane fuel blend but even without that you’d still achieve very significant gains. Definitely recommended.

What's the difference between the Stage 2 tune and a Custom Tune?

Stage 2 is an "off the shelf" VitViper tune that makes good power but is designed to be safe for all vehicles with those mods. A custom tune takes it to the next level, tailoring things to your exact engine. A custom tune is going to be able to safely make more power.

You will also need to upgrade your clutch if you want to use those gains. The stock clutch will slip at those numbers.

Truth. Mine started slipping on my Si after running a 24 psi variant of the dual map and installing their Catless DP/FP combo. I backed it back down to the 19/23 map and it's "okay", still iffy sometimes.

New to the import world and to tuning. If I bought this combo could I dial it back and make less than the advertised 80/120?

Absolutely, Ktuner has other maps you can run and it's all customizable.

That doesn’t seem anywhere near what they claim. Is this to the wheels?

Wheels and this was quite a while back. There's been more development, a firmware update, probably 10+ software updates... Chances are the staged tunes have gotten some work... Didn't think to mention (didn't notice where I was) mine is an ext not an Si.

So if I just want to run the basic +6 PSI flashpro, will the clutch be alright?
