Yes, but you can revert back to the default stock settings. If you do this, you shouldnt get caught.soi if you do this flash how does it effect your warranty?
It won't damage the vehicle.Anyone know if the KTuner tune would (for lack of better phrasing) damage the car? Since it essentially changes the way it drives?
Also does it basically make the Drive mode the default stock Sport mode? and the sport mode a better sport mode?
What we meant is a 2nd tune, not stage 2 tune. Is there a 2nd tune available? This is a naturally aspirated engine. There aren't stages that can be provided.

Flash back anytime, its free and easy to do yourself.so revert back to the settings is within the Ktuner? or is it additional cost?
So the claims of an ECU putting extensive strain that results in the shortening of the engines life are unfounded would you say KTuner? It won't damage the vehicle.
No, there are settings for better responsiveness that apply globally.
The tune is within safe parameters. Base tunes are not aggressive. So the claims of an ECU putting extensive strain that results in the shortening of the engines life are unfounded would you say KTuner?
Will there be a more aggressive tune and are there any dyno numbers?! Thanks Ktuner! The tune is within safe parameters. Base tunes are not aggressive.
What exactly does Throttle Responsiveness mean? And was there any other upgrade to this new tune besides being able to change the throttle responsiveness?Sorry for those of you asking me questions that I have yet to answer. It has been a busy last couple of weeks and life kinda got in the way of everything. I hope this helps answer anything I might have missed.
In response to my initial post and review of what the KTuner does for the 2.0 I have not updated since before the release of the throttle response quick adjustment. This has also given me a chance to better compare what the car was before my most recent reflash, to how it feels now.
(FYI:
I am running 91 octane, with the more aggressive throttle response. )
With the improved throttle response and the addition of the lower RPM VTEC engagement it has made the vehicle a whole lot better in terms of off the line and responsiveness to driver input. The more aggressive response of the throttle input really helped the vehicle from a stop and up to about 3,000 RPM where the engine would start to feel as though it would lose power taking off into a corner, or even in a straight line. The lower VTEC engagement bridged the gap in the mid range where the car would fall flat on it's face. It gave the vehicle a more aggressive and linear acceleration. As I stated in my initial write up on the KTuner application to the 2.0 it's not going to roast the tires, and you're not going to blow the doors off of any mustangs, but it does take the weak, unresponsiveness of the factory tune and help bring in some of the fun factor missing from the vehicle.
KTuner has done a great job of bringing everything together to make the 2.0 a better driving experience. In the end we just have to remember that this was meant to be a daily driven, gas sipping, economy commuter.
If you're looking to get the most out of this particular vehicle then the KTuner is the way to go. I have no regrets making the purchase and believe it to have been well worth it.
Also, what is full throttle shift? It has it at 6600 "cut RPM", what will happen if I lower that number? What exactly does Throttle Responsiveness mean? And was there any other upgrade to this new tune besides being able to change the throttle responsiveness?
Just re-flashed my car and adjusted the throttle responsiveness to level 2 but wondering if there are any other new features from this updated version that I can change!
