Is that a TPMS reset button next to the cruise button on the steering wheel? That the US version doesn't have?

The Ring record lap car is the one with halogen headlights.
I hope they are going to release this version.

Pretty sure they took the "base" UK CTR and started from there. It's missing the red pine stripes on the underbody aero.

Looks like they also replaced the stock LED headlights with halogen headlights. Most likely to save some weight.

TPMS calibration is done on the touch screen. In settings.
Yes I realize that but if you look at the original post photo and look closely at the steering wheel you see a button with a symbol to the right of the cruise button? On our caR we have two missing buttons to the left & right of the cruise button?

The extra buttons you're referring to are to adjust the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) following distance and toggle between ACC and "regular" cruise and to toggle LKAS (Lane Keeping Assist System) on and off. Those features are part of Honda Sensing which is not currently available on the Type R, Si, or other manual Civics in the US or Canada.

Hi,

You can read/compare the UK "Base" model and "GT" model here http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/new/civic-type-r/specifications.html

The "Base" model is comparable with the "Touring" model that is released in the US.

Please bare in mind that, even if you get your hands on wiring diagrams, you will need to replace the wing mirrors since the blind spot information relies on camera's built into the wing mirrors etc. I am sure there will be a lot more labour involved on top of that.

I guess your plus point is that you got the Type R before customers in the UK/Europe.
