Hey all, I am new to this forum. I traded in my 2013 Accord Sport for a 2017 Civic Si sedan. Only 600 miles in, but I am loving the Si. Definitely the most well rounded Si to date. Having a 1996 Integra GSR in the past, it is hard to not miss the sound of VTEC kicking in, but the Si turbo makes up for it, with it's very decent low end torque.

That being said, I am trying to plan out what performance mods to do. I am thinking first item should be upgrading the intake. I prefer a short ram, due to not needed a water bypass valve. Then I'm thinking a blow off valve, followed by the Hondata tune.

I had a Takeda SRI on my Accord and it sounded great and provided a nice little increase in actual detectable power.

Any feedback is appreciated on what intakes and blow off valves are recommended!

The intake and the blow off valve will offer little to no performance gains on these cars. There is quite a bit of info posted on these topics already on here.

You are wasting your money on a SRI with a turbo car. Put that money towards an intercooler.

What about a cold air? I can understand the heat quench on a SRI, but wouldn't a cold air make a difference? This is my first turbo car.

Not really, that cold air is still going to the turbo first which is going to heat up the air regardless. the factory box shields the heat of the engine bay, I think PRI is making a intake kit that retains the factory box but includes a new smoother box to turbo tube and a high flow filter IIRC. Most of the charge air temp reduction comes from the intercooler which in factory form gets heat soaked on almost every OEM turbo car. You are going to get more out of a new intercooler and tune than any CAI/SRI.
