@Badongski got one for ya, make sure you've got good speakers, it's recorded on my phone so it doesn't quite do it justice lol. That is literally just pulling the one muffler off, and I guess the Injen SRI, that's why you can hear the turbo recirc a bit, but no other exhaust changes.

Jeez she needs a clean under there lol.

Sounds good. Was wondering what's the safest way to do this though? After you unbolt the muffler isn't there a gaping hole left there? What would be the best way to keep it covered? My main concern is exhaust leakage.

@gen10_civics_ig Best way to go about it would to take it to a shop and have them remove your mufflers and then just run piping to the rear of the car. Some call this straight piping.

Yeah I figured having the exhaust shop weld a pipe would be the best way, just wondering if there was like a DIY way, but when it comes to exhaust , probably better to get it done by the pros. I was just encouraged by the fact that one muffler pops off with some bolts.

If you mean leaking into the car, I've never had a single whiff of exhaust inside, going on probably 3 months now. The hole is slightly angled up, but is directed straight at heat shielding which used to be above the muffler. As for shit getting in the exhaust, it would have to snake its way under the rear bumper and then back up and into the pipe, due to the slight upwards bend. My only issue with having a shop do it would be cutting off the OEM flange to weld onto the pipe, easier to return to stock just unbolting. If that doesn't bother you it probably wouldn't cost more than 50$ to have done. Either way I think you'll be safe.

My concern was kinda of both but mostly exhaust seeping into the interior. If its aimed at the heat shield, and you havent been smelling exhaust fumes then thats pretty good.

Maybe bolting some gutter guard to at least prevent debris from going in would be a cheapy solution for that particular issue. I guess I could try to unbolt it and see how I like the sound in person, then pursue a more permanent solution if I like it, like welding a straight pipe.
