COOL COOL COOL!!! Now do a cvt upgrade!!!! :p Makes me wonder if there is a high enough demand for something like that. Wonder if it's as simple as just an upgraded belt or if there's more to it.

Very nice Vit.

The fact that we're delving more and more into this platform is so exciting.
Yes, I'm all for seeing 10th gen civics take over the road and hold up well. Higher resale value, cheaper parts, more aftmkt support! More money and value for everyone involved!

This CVT is the first auto car I've ever owned and don't miss driving a manual in traffic or day to day at all! Looking to buy another car for weekend and track use only. So the true upgrade is buy a car in ADDITION to your CVT civic ;)

I love a manual day to day. Traffic I can understand -- but getting stuck in traffic is annoying regardless of the car you're in. I hate sitting in a parking lot sniffing all the fumes.

It is annoying but it is much MORE annoying to get stuck in traffic in a manual. Our cars do have a cabin air filter and A/C it's very comfy and with honda sensing you can relax lol

Guess the only option is another car. Maybe an S2000 with an ls3 swap.

We are using the FX400 -- as indicated on the page. FX100 is advertised as a 70% increase by CM. Personally I would recommend at least the fx300 for high 300wtq+ goals. I imagine the FX100 & FX200 will be a great upgrade for people wanting better clutch reliability in the 260-270tq area (the stock clutch is very sloppy and doesn't hold this power level very well).
How much whp were you able to make with that wtq?

So how do companies come up with that rating? Is it 70% greater than the intended vehicles stock rated power numbers (so ~295 lb.ft) or is it 70% greater than the factory clutch can take, say it'll hold 250 reliably to be conservative and that's 425 lb.ft.

I had a CVT loaner for 2 days this week, 2017 LX Sedan with a 2.0. Every mile I missed my Sport Hatch 6MT like crazy, when I got my car back I realized how good I had it.

CVT's stink!

Drive a vittuned 6mt, it's better... ;) lol

I know I hated the cvt in my 9th gen Accord when trying to drive aggressively but for traffic and road trips I'll admit it was pretty nice.
