Hey guys got a 17 hb sport cvt. New to the car game and dont know much about them. Also not too crazy into mods yet but will actually like to hear that my turbo car is on. Has any changed their exhaust system? Hows the sound? New to the thread and to forums in general if doing something wrong please inform me or point me to the correct place. Thanks to all!

Not many companies have made aftermarket exhausts for the cars yet. Gonna have to wait til there are more options unless you just want to get a custom one made at an exhaust shop.

How does getting a custom one compare to aftermarkets? Is it crazy expensive? is it the same as "straight pipe"?

The price won't be too bad but the end result (audio wise) could be anywhere from great to terrible. To me there is just more risk involved. I'd prefer to hear it before having it installed.

Straight pipe means no mufflers or resonators. That is probably the cheapest way but also the loudest and not something you will want to daily drive with.

Good idea... there's no sense in rushing to get aftermarket parts. There are plenty of very reputable performance parts companies working hard to put out parts for our cars. The last thing I would want to do is pay a shop to make me a custom exhaust and it sounds horrible.

I know I saw a system by Injen is about a month out, and my vehicle was used by HKS for R&D and they guess early August for production to ship. They had a dual muffler and a single muffler set up, and I heard clips of the dual muffler. It was MEAN, had a ton of growl. I can't wait to get mine!

There are few other companies having a sport exhaust in R&D. Mangaflow has something in the works ETA seems to be 6/30/17 (https://www.magnaflow.com/products?partNumber=19373) and if you follow Jonny's honda build he's working with Injen, as well as ARK performance. We're gonna have a lot of exhaust options this summer, can't wait!

We will have our exhaust system available for pre-order here in the next few weeks.
