Its specific to my ECU. You probably have a different ECU. They make them in batches, thats why we had to check Hondata and Ktuners website to make sure each ecu was supported

Are you guys going with high octane Boost by gear calibrations?
I'm doing a 93 octane tune. I'm thinking I want to target 22 psi and then see how the Michelin PSS hold up, and do BBG if needed. The car is pretty glued to the road on the starter 21psi with those tires 235/40/18.

My nittos grab better than my firestones but im on 235/35-19 now too. It still breaks loose about midway up the rpm range

Going on almost 8 days since my last calibration from Vit... At this rate I'll be lucky to have a completed tune by 2018!...

Haha dang! On Wednesday night between 11:30pm and 3:30am EST we did 4 cals. I'm on priority though, and was willing to stay up crazy late that night haha.

Well that explains that. I guess at this point if you're not willing to pay for priority don't bother getting a tune with Vit. I have very capable tuners in my area that can clean it up and work off of the end user 21 starter map. Will see if there are any ktuner pro tuners in the area. If I lived closed by I would rather drive it to his shop than wait endlessly. Still I feel a tune from Vit would be the best.

At this point I would be fine with a straight 1:1 copy of SilverGhosts CVT tune on 93 ha

I'm in the same boat. Was almost starting to think I had done something wrong, but then I remembered the confirmation saying he got the tune, and his instructions on not bugging him about whether or not the tune was received etc. I figure he's been busy this week, so just patiently waiting.

Why not go priority? It's $100 and you will probably be charged at least that if you take it somewhere. I would say his knowledge of the platform is worth the wait.

yeah, I got one last week, had an issue, he fixed and sent a second, so Im on my 3rd revision but nothing this week at all. Whatever, I didnt pay priority and Starter 21 is fine while I wait.

Just checked it's $150...

http://vittuned.com/priority-tune-upgrade.html

If it's going to take forever I'd rather just get a refund and just rock stage 2 end user on quick adjustments.

I got his e-tune combo with Ktuner. I'm already at 700. If I got the priority upgrade I'm at 850. While Ktuner is only 449. I'd rather pocket that extra 400. Now if he was within driving distance it's a no brainer as I could get a good tune there and then. but paying 400 and not seeing results until months later is not worth it as I have to take my time into account as well. Plus The civic is not a fast car and doesn't make me money; really nothing is gained by being faster than the next guy day to day use IMO

I checked his refund policy on tunes... I think it's outdated.

We will not issue any refunds on tuning services that have already been initiated (IE, calibration(s) has/have been sent out). This is due to fraudelent behavior ("free basemap"). We do not run any "try before you buy" or "free basemap" services.

Doesn't apply to this platform the calibration he sends is locked down and useless to me, now if I could see what is viewable on the end user starter map then yes.

You got a combo discount too though, his custom tune is $300 on its own.

I say this unbiased when I tell you there is a HUGE difference already from Starter 21 and I'm only a little over halfway done with my tune... I actually started on Flashpro and bought that combo with ultimate tune from Vit. I sold it (at a loss), then I switched to Ktuner V2 and had to pay another $800 for the combo. The V2 was delayed so I ordered a V1 to hold me over. Then I finally got the V2 and sold the V1 (again a loss). This has been a very long drawn out process just because of how all the cookies fell, but I can say that it has all been worth it at this point.

I'm not arguing it's not worth it. Just getting antsy lol

However, I'm not a big fan of taking losses on mods like you have lol
