I'm trying to rep my dubs whenever I drive my 17 Civic Hatchback Sport and I was just wondering if the plastic clip end will damage or scratch my tints? Thanks in advance!

I would not take the risk myself.

I'd put a little microfiber cloth underneath (or whatever fabric they say is okay for wiping down tint film).

Usually any glass cleaner without Ammonia will do. That is what is recommended on my LUMAR pinnacle series ceramic tint.

I meant, a tint-safe piece of cloth to protect the tint film from rub marks caused by the flag mounted on the top edge of the window.

Another idea would be a piece of plastic cling film (the kind without adhesive). You'd want it attached to the window so the flag mount rubs on the film, not the film rub on the tint. (awkward explanation, but I hope it makes sense)

Whatever you do, make sure that what's touching the tint film is nice and clean. Dust is really good at scratching things.

Gotcha, Foam tape on the plastic piece of the flag will work. Usually tints have very good scratch resistant coatings. My tint came with lifetime warranty I'm sure it would cover scratches.
