Self proclaimed? Lol more like Humble, quit his job at a Honda dealer after 23 years to teach others about the products Honda sells, since most salesmen don't know much about whats on there lot. Honda loves it and now promotes him. That's just down the road from me and I would be there if the Type R was there, but not going for some photo op with a self proclaimed Pro Youtuber.
Dude are you serious?! I honestly expected more like 45psi given the 30 profile. Oh well. I normally run max psi anyway for extra load capacity and mpg'!Tire pressure specifications: 35psi front

Thanks for the infoMy boss (dealership owner/dealership manager) walked inside the shop today . He told me information that he got from the town hall meeting in DC. He said something like after the first shipment (first release) arrives, they will be producing like 300 units monthly for north america. Our dealer might be lucky to get 1 unit every 4-6 months he said. Anyway the big news is.... This came straight from his mount..... Ladies and Gentlemen (in a Michael Buffer voice), the first date of sale for the R is June 15 . There you go I said it .

I believe I've seen Focus RS demand at about 350/mo. They should sell year round at least with the AWD that some crave. Thanks for the info
So that would mean about 3600 units per year for North America and it sounds like they may adjust that based on actual demand/sales. Seems reasonable. By comparison, I know that Ford cranked out a little over 4,500 GT500's per year from 2007 to 2014. Apparently there was not much more demand than that. Don't flame me as I realize its a completely different car... I'm sure others may have other examples to offer up..
Cool this exactly what I was anticipating...Thanks for the info

Mannnnn it's going to be hard to hold it together. I still don't have one nailed down because dealers won't take deposits. Hopefully that changes after NYIAS.Cool this exactly what I was anticipating...
June 15th seems like an eternity tho...

I think if they were that close, they'd have to be showing up in the iN system by now. I also wouldn't be surprised to see something like this -Not for nothing but I hope your wrong I was hoping to get mine after NY auto show like the end of April I'm so bummed now

This is very exciting news! thanks for the share of that info. I like how he used the term ' North America' and not just US. That includes us canadians hopefully in the initial launch I'm praying!!My boss (dealership owner/dealership manager) walked inside the shop today .
