You only need FlashPro or Ktuner, not both.

See thats what i thought.. so which one is cheaper or better?
Ktuner is cheaper. As far as who's better, it's a matter of personal opinion. There's quite a few threads on here going over the pro's and cons of each. The best advice I can give is to do a little reading and then decide based on your own needs. I will mention this since you drive a manual: Ktuner has the ability to regulate boost by gear, which is just awesome, IMO. If you don't want to mess with a local shop, @VitViper offers e-tuning solutions and is very action on the boards here.

I just realized that I misinformed you. I didn't realize at first that you have an LX with the 2.0. I don't believe that the Flashpro supports the 2.0 yet, but if I'm wrong, hopefully someone will come along and correct me. And I don't believe that Vit has any plans to E-tune the 2.0. If it were me, I would order the Ktuner V1 end user kit and just flash it myself. By owning the kit, you can revert to factory at any time. If you have a Windows laptop, it's really easy to flash the ECU. There's a list of dealers on their website. Here's the page for your engine. There's currently only one base tune for the 2.0 and there is a description of the improvements it makes. You also could try contacting the owner directly to see if he's still doing testing on the 2.0. You may be able to get a discount by participating.

alot of things to improve on the 2.0 tuning wise. if i still had the 2.0 i would have a tune on it without any other parts to start with totally worth it imho. still wonder what vetec would have felt like comming in somewhere in the sub 5k range. i still kinda like the 2.0 better, my 1.5 is demanding a tune to even come close to the 2.o's driveabilly. at least my 1.5.

nothing wrong with the way the 1.5 runs only the way it drives, as compaired to the 2.0. me be talking 6 speed only. and between the two the 2.0 drives better. not faster, just slightly better. i'm not looking for more hp just a better driving car, so much i'll spend more money to correct it.
i truly hope mine is the only one that is hurky jurky between 2600 and 3000 rpms, i think its caused by the boost. really sux in second gear.
