in for updates, this looks interesting! How much was that touring stalk?

$37+shipping. Very reasonable. Picking up my Hatch on Tuesday so I'll get a look at the BCM next weekend. I'm struggling right now To identify the pins as they are much smaller than usual. Might go to the local junkyard and pull apart the steering columns on some wrecked civics, pilots, etc and see if I can't find the same style pins to cut out.in for updates, this looks interesting! measured the potentiometer in the auto wiper stalk today. FYI the range is between 4ohm and 1.04Kohm. Also found that the pins from front panel header connectors on desktop computers fit well on the wiper stalk pins so I will probably be using those just to get this up and running.
So I've got my civic, that was the real holdup. Just waiting for the weather to cooperate up here. It's been below freezing and I'm paranoid about breaking clips so waiting for a warm day. Also considered buying the EX Stalk in the meantime, unless somebody can measure theirs and sees the resistances are the same as the touring stalk I measured.Just wondering if you'd made any more progress on this mod. Thanks.

My new wiper stalk came in. I ordered one from a touring hatch, not really thinking about the difference between auto and intermittent wipers. From what I can tell they're electrically the same so I'll just deal with the mislabel if this works. Will update you guys once it's installed and wired to e21
The part number for the body module on the EX is different than the Sport/LX. I noticed that intermittent signal pin started sinking more current than I was comfortable with for a signal so I stopped and abandoned the project. Might try again some other time with a current limited supply to see how high it will go but not trying to fry my body control module.Any update on this. Thinking of doing this on my sport can't stand not having variable speeds.
I tried to match the diagram with my wiring, but this is how close I can get. The BCU in my car has the letters "BS" and looks like the one pictured below.
Today I made some tests in order to be sure connector "C2" is really connector "E", which it is. Sadly, pin E21 in my Civic LX BCU is not fuctional. It needs to sense a change in voltage in order to change the sweep frecuency, but in my car that pin is useless. Seems like Honda took notice in how easy was to do it in my '12 Civic.I tried to match the diagram with my wiring, but this is how close I can get. The pdf file has the pin and color correspondence so far . Looks like "C1" is connector "D". Comments are welcome..
Can you tell me where you came up with this schematic for your 2016? I'm over from the 9th Gen forum and have gone through THEIR variable switch swap-out instructions and thought it might be helpful for me to have such a diagram for the 2014 Civic LX that I'm going to be doing shortly.
