After reading some specs on the K20C2 engine I noticed that the vtec engages at 6100rpm with a 6700rpm redline, i had my LX coupe in 3rd gear the other day and could definitely feel the vtec engage at 6100 rpm. i was just wondering why Honda would have vtec engaging at a relatively high rpm basically only giving you 600 rpm when vtec engages until you have to shift, Im sure there is a good reason for this was just wondering what the reason is.....thanks
