Hit by a big rock on the freeway last weekend. initially didnt see any damage as we were busy with Xmas. looks like it hit the hood (front/center) then bounced up and hit the windshield. Not excited to have the hood repainted as the bumpers already dont match. Normally would blow it off but I only have 500 miles on it!

That sucks. I have to bring mine in too. Discovered that there's a big leak in my washer fluid reservoir. Noticed it was empty the other day. Refilled it and it started leaking badly. Swung by the dealership and they told me to drop it off. They said a hose could have come loose.

The color of your bumpers will NOT match your metal surfaces. Paint is different on plastic surfaces like bumpers. This is a given especially with metallic paints. So long as your front and rear bumpers match, that is important. Sorry about the damage.

Mine is going into the shop too. Domino's pizza guy took out our mailbox then hit my parked car in the driveway. Front fender, grill, and hood will have to be replaced and they'll have to take a look at my honda sensing since I can't tell if that was damaged or not.

Well I went to the dealer and apparently when I had a curb incident a few weeks ago, the under bumper got hit enough to make the bumper screw puncture the washer fluid reservoir. Who places a screw next to a reservoir? Thank goodness it's not too expensive to fix.
I had several curb and bottoming out incidents with my old Honda and none of this stuff happened.

I had to take my Hatchback back in a week later because at delivery it had a dent in it.

It really hurts damaging a new car! My 16 sedan is my first brand new car, and at 700kms and 5 days in I got stone chip right above my eye level on the drivers side. Then last week someone slid into my car when it was parked in my apartments parking lot! No note or anything. Some people are so rude! The quarter panel will need to be replaced and the bumper repainted... Just some scuffs there. Lucky the light didn't get it! I feel for you having to have it repaired already :( I've only had mine a month! A few more kms than you though... I was over 6000 when the guy hit it.

Bummer.... I had a rock hit my windshield at 7 weeks old and took it to Safelite (another thread of mine) and they botched it so bad that I took it to another Safelite and they replaced the windshield yet again. The second time, they did a great job and it looks like new.
