Does anyone know where you can find a black emblem for the back of the 2017 hatchbacks? I assume, there might be a compatible emblem from another model out there. I've seen them in black before, but I've exhausted the google searches up until the point where I do find some, but I have no clue if they will fit the hatchback. I might be willing to order one or two for 10 bucks to give it a go and figure out, but if someone happens to know the answer, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks!

Do you mean black emblems as in those listed above? If so, I am also looking for something similar but do not know if any of these are fitted to the CivicX. I plan on replacing my front emblem with the ones listed. If you do end up buying something similar, please let me know if whether or not they fit.

Definitely majority are dipped.

Hoping to figure out if an alternative exists, and if there is even a possibility, I would be willing to buy it, try it, and post back here the results. With that said, if someone has a suggestion of a close fit they think, i.e. accord or something. Parts and accessories are limited for the 17's from 3rd parties, so hard to tell at moment.

I dipped mine. It's really not hard to do, and probably cost less than buying a new emblem. And you'll be much prouder for having done something yourself :) But i must warn you... dipping is very addictive.

Haha, Ya I agree.

I've dipped a few times before. Emblems, wheels, etc. I just am not a fan of the gloss finish from plasti-dip. Was wanting something that matches the gloss. So, worst case, I will remove emblem and have it painted black gloss. I do happen to have a friend with a shop, so it wouldn't be end of world. However, comparing to that cost, and time, a emblem if it existed out there would be my best choice. Especially for if people break the original when taking off, the new one, hopefully being a match would fit. Anyhow, not the biggest priority I would say - but I thought it was worth a new thread incase someone had the silver bullet.

Don't use those generic badges, please. Those are made for late 90's-early 00's Honda's and will be way to small for our Civic. Just dip them, or buy from dealer (won't be black though).

I've read that that's the case but this'll be my first dip personally. And, yes, I am definitely worried it'll become addictive...

When I got my hatch. It came blacked out emblems from the dealership. Doesn't look to be plasti-dipped. I had to get some residual gunk off it when I brought the car home. So I did do a scratch test and it's def not dipped. Could be spray painted with gloss spray paint. But can't really tell.

Call your dealership and see if they have Black OEM emblems.
