new setup, any issues???

Hi,

planning to purchase some new wheels and tires for summer even though its months away...getting everything ready and wondering if ill have any issues with this setup

18x8 +45
235/40/18

will i need to roll fender or anything like that?

also, im getting some aftermarket steelies for the winter months...since honda uses the ball type lugs for oem, will i need to get new lug nuts?

If you're not lowering, no need to roll fenders.
With 8" wheels even if you do lower unless you absolutely dump it you won't need to roll fenders.

Just check that overall circumference is within 2% of stock.

You'll likely need new lugs as the seat for most steel wheels are different.

i guess for aftermarket steelies im going to need the acorn/tapered? also, for lug nuts, is there a specific length im looking for? i see various lengths of lug nuts from short to long so do the lengths not matter?

Rule of thumb is 3 full turns to get them to thread properly.

12x1.5 is what you need. As for the steelies, just ask whatever shop you buy them from

hi, back with another wheel setup question. friend recently bought a white hatch and wants to go white on white. i have a set of really old white advan racing wheels that he wants

will he run into any issues with 17x7 +35 (215/50/17 tires)? or will it fit just fine right off the bat?

It'll be fine, as long as the bolt pattern is 5x114.3, and the Advan's center bore is larger than 64.1mm.
