New member from Hawaii here. My name is Randy and I have a 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback EX-L Navi in Lunar Silver. I have just had the car for about one week. It's so hot here the first thing I did was add tint. I had originally ordered a Sport Manual, but they could not find one, plus my 2004 Acura TSX clutch just gave out. So I got the CVT which gets pretty good gas milage on regular unleaded.

Joined the forum a couple months back. Been lurking like a new redditor. Finally got my buyback completed with VW last week then went to D.C. before the new cheeto overlord took office. Pulled the trigger two nights ago. Very happy!!

2017 EX-L, Black/Black. $24,700 OTD (fees and all). Lifetime powertrain warranty (Tampa Honda), valid nationwide and in Canada once the factory one is up. $100 deductible so not too bad. They included tint, rubber mats, mudguards, and nitrogen in the tires.

So far, in love.

Mods first up:
Clear side markers
Aspherical anti glare mirrors
LED interior/exterior where needed
HID lows, 5000K fogs to color match it all
Drop-in for now, intake in the near future

Anyway, I'm James, and have surfed through this place for a week or two now ever since I discovered how awesome and fairly inexpensive the new 2017 Civic looks. I plan on getting the Touring trim in Modern Steel over Spring Break near the end of March, but have been driving a 1998 Honda Accord for just about 3 years now. Can't wait to check out the new Civic - it looks so damn aggressively impressive.

Hey guys, name's Nick. Just picked up my 2017 Civic hatch sport on Saturday! Had a 13 civic si sedan before and loved it but couldn't resist jumping in a new hatch.

Loving the car so much already and so far the only mod I have is a Password JDM stainless weighted shift knob. Hopefully many more mods in the future but for now still have to break her in. Looking forward to joining the community here.

Coming from Nissan Altima 3.5 CVT so I can honestly say, I am all set with CVT's for now. As quick as the Altima was, it just wasn't that much fun to drive.

Trying hard to not mod this car and just leave it alone, but it does need some help in the corners to help keep my commute somewhat fun. Looking at swapping the wheels and tires or just the tires to MPSS when they go on clearance as the new gen should be out soon. Rockford Fosgate powered sub goes in tomorrow.

Hello everyone,

I am in Toronto Canada, I just sealed the deal on a 2017 Honda Civic EX-T in the white Orchid. I pick up on Friday. At first I was going to get the Honda HRV because I have a 2004 Mazda 3 and wanted something different but the low horsepower 141 on the HRV was a turn off.

Any tips for me when I pick up my new car? Is a paint protector necessary? Someone told me not to make them wash it and put paint protector first to avoid swirl marks
