I do enjoy the perks of being an engineer at Injen and owning a 10th Gen Civic. lol

Honda Civic 10th gen Had a little something installed today Intercooler

Love this car, but wish I had purchased the manual transmission version now. That said, this is a fun car and I'm impressed with it for my daily. My old daily was a Silverado and the fuel savings alone make the payment on my Civic. (as long as I say out of boost!!)

A new dual exhaust system, downpipe, and charge pipes are next on the list. After that, it's time to tune it all in with the Hondata. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress too.

Cheers!

I am not on this forum as Injen, but rather a new enthusiast to the Civic community. With that said, I'll leave the pricing information out of my posts and ignore any bait to get into a discussing over dyno claims, etc. It's just not what I'm in here for. This is my ride and I thought I'd share what I'm doing to it. If you want to see the completed car, I'll be showing it at the Eibach Honda meet on May 7th in Fontana, Ca.

I'll post up the dimensions of the intercooler tomorrow. I will say that the car responds far better now and Honda R&D uses this intercooler in their road race cars.

I can understand the humor, but why bash a company that is active in supporting our rides? That's as much defending as I'll do. I'll post the dimensions up tomorrow.

Cheers!

Can't wait for more updates. However I know prl's intercooler will be one of the best, so that's what I'll be getting.
and I think PRL said their intercooler will be replacing the plastic piping as well, so not just an intercooler swap.....

Did a little MPG testing on the way to work today. My trip is about 66 miles one way and this coming down from the High Desert and into Pomona. This is with a short ram intake and the intercooler installed. This is roughly what I was getting prior to any mods, so it's nice that I haven't lost and economy. That was important to me because of my commute! The 34mpg was on the way to Costco for fuel. lol

Before I get bashed again, this is mostly downhill, so the MPG is great. Going home, I average about 37 to 38 MPG. My point is that I haven't lost any MPG, which was important to me.

I am very excited to see an intercooler out for our cars. I love the look too. Thank you for sharing and I will definitely check on this to see the rest of your progress!
