Anyone opened engine air intake filter box on 1.5T? Owner's manual has no details about intake filter maintence even though oil filter replacement goes into great detail. Intake filter may not be a user servicable job for some complex reason unknown to me. Don't want to void warranty.

I haven't. And yeah I don't like how Honda provides no guidance at all, this is my first rodeo with Honda so I wasn't sure where they typically place the box.



But this video - shows it should be a quick job to service yourself (+ dealer wants $50+ for it for a two-minute quickie)

Look at the box and you'll notice four 8mm bolts, unscrew those and you'll get to the air filter. Usually air filters get changed out ~ 10-15K miles, less if you drive through a lot of dirty areas.
