  1. Missouri SOLD: KTuner V2 (touch screen) - barely used

Hello Caleb, I don't have a PM from you. Please try sending it again, and thank you for your interest. Cheers, Nathan Zachary
  2. Missouri SOLD: KTuner V2 (touch screen) - barely used

Hello all, I have a KTuner V2 (touch screen) that I purchased from Vit on 10 May 2017 and only used it to tune with him. Thereafter, it went back in the box and sat in my closet. I have realised that I'm not going to tune my new 2020 Si, and am looking to sell the KTuner. I paid $950 for it...
  3. Viper4Android - Post Your Settings Here

That's correct. ViPER4Android 2.5.0.5 is the latest version, and it installs cleanly on the 2020 Civic Si.
  4. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

Along with what saiko21 said, there are some other reasons that we can't update to a non-archaic version of Android. One of which is that we don't have access to the recovery for this ROM (which is needed to install a new OS), and another is that the hardware is so inadequate that it could...
  5. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

Instead of the "standard" one, just changing it to the more Android-esque skin helped in my case: (the one with the nature background)
  6. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

Thanks for the recommendations. I don't have Google Services as I have only side-loaded APKs from APKPure and other sites (nothing downloaded via my Google Account). As for the centre speaker, I will give that a try if I can't get anywhere with ViPER4Android.
  7. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

I don't think so here. I installed OS Monitor (just to check utilisation, not to use as a task manager), and it shows a completely different CPU utilisation percentage than Honda Hack. I'm wondering if Honda Hack's is accurate. I would love to install htop, but that requires termux which...
  8. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

I have installed ViPER4Android, but I haven't yet looked through the settings. I would assume that the "Processing" field and status are within the application, so I'll test it out to make sure that it is working when playing from USB via the Musicolet app. Thanks for the tip!
  9. Viper4Android - Post Your Settings Here

I just also saw this thread which indicates that 2.5.0.5 is the last release that we can use: https://www.civicx.com/threads/viper4android-v6.43474/
  10. Viper4Android - Post Your Settings Here

I would also like to know this. On the Honda Hack site, it shows 2.5.0.5: http://autohack.org/apk/ but I see that 2.7 is out: https://www.xda-developers.com/viper4android-v2-7-new-ui-profile-management/ This page seems to indicate that 2.7.0.0 requires Android 6+ (which wouldn't work as we...
  11. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

I changed the skin from the factory standard, and I did notice an improvement in the CPU utilisation and responsiveness. Also, thank you for letting me know about viper4android. I guess I'm going to have to install it because the sound is pretty awful as it is. I'll do that as soon as time...
  12. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

My understanding is that viper4android is essentially an equalising filter, so does the DSP not try to counter it? I use Musicolet as my music app, and anything that I do with the EQ gets neutralised by the DSP.
  13. Infotainment CPU usage at idle and sound quality

As of this past Friday, I now have the 2020 Civic Si and am pretty happy with it so far. The infotainment system, however, is still as bad as I remember it from my 2017 Civic EX-T, but in this case, it may actually be a bit worse. I have installed Honda Hack so that I can use a decent music...
  14. Honda Hack or app installation on 2020 Civic Si?

Thanks for letting me know that it is working for you. I wish that there was a way to install an app without using HondaHack. It seems silly to root just for one app installation. Anyway, I did get a response from the developer who also indicated that it works just fine on the 2020s.
  15. Honda Hack or app installation on 2020 Civic Si?

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I wasn't entirely impressed with the Dasaita, and am not looking to put it into my new 2020 Si if I don't have to. The only thing that I want is a decent music player that can play my files. That's it. I know that playing from USB through the generic setup...
  16. Difference between 2020 Si suspension and HFP?

One more question that I have is the difference between the 2020 Si's suspension (which is listed as active dampening) and the HFP option. I would highly doubt that I would go for the HFP (given the price an other options out there), but wanted to see if anyone had experience with it or...
  17. Honda Hack or app installation on 2020 Civic Si?

Hello all, I'm picking up my 2020 Civic Si tomorrow, and wanted to know if Honda Hack works on these newbies? In my 2017 Civic EX-T, I ultimately went with the Dasaita head because it allowed me to install some apps and the freedom of a better Android experience. However, the screen was...
  18. Offical "Si Dealer Naughty List" thread

Is there a thread or any data on what was actually paid for a 2020 Si? I'm trading in my 2017 EX-T on Friday and am looking to make sure that I at least get a decent deal. I'm estimating that the trade difference will be ~$9000.
  19. How Rare is the SI?

I ordered mine back when they were first announced, and am hoping to finally get it within the next week or so. I don't know why it took so flippin' long, but I'm hoping it was worth the wait over my 2017 EX-T.
