How is the mpg after setting quick adjustments to improved 2 and aggressive 2? Any changes?
I've recorded my best ever MPG on those settings. If you aren't racing around everywhere I don't think it's going to hurt your MPG.

Knock control starts high on a freshly reset ECU. You have to drive it a bit to allow the ECU to learn the fuel and go down.
@360glitch What sort of values are you seeing for Knock Control once it has settled? I get 0.49 quite consistently. Just wondering.

Isnt that a bad thing? When I flashed the new hondata update a few weeks ago, my kcontrol was at 115+ and Vit told me flash back to stock immediately until they figured out why
Sorry for being off topic - but how do you monitor knock control with the Hondata?

Can't you just take logs and review them on your laptop? Or possibly view it on the laptop while the engine is running?

Yup datalog or laptop. or if you have Bluetooth enabled, you can download the honadata app on your phone or tablet and view from there.

same, it will climb into the 50s when I get heat soaked on hot days.
so... my question is, higher octane should lower K control right?

I'm not a tuner nor will I ever claim to be. I couldn't tune a tri-cycle!!! But I do know that pre-ignition detonation in the cylinders is bad!!! But I have full confidence in the skill of @VitViper to correct issues if your having them. My custom tune is "as clean as they get"...... I'm just saying....

Good question, anybody else care to chime in? The 0.49/0.50 I have seen is based on the car running BP Ultimate RON98 (Australia), which should be the equivalent of US RON92/93. Unfortunately, my 30 mins commutes to/from work doesn't really cause any heat soak to cause the knock control value to vary significantly.

@Quicksipper What's your IAT when you are getting heat soaked and high knock control?
